Keefay	Posted - 2006.06.07 12:14:00 - [1] Las night I made an escrow for my buddy, I added all my ores and loot i had spent all day collecting, but when I put his name in, i accidently put it in description, i pressed ok and it is all gone, no escrow, no items, nothing. I know I made a mistake but are these items anywhere? if they are gone forever then shouldnt you be reminded youv made a mistake before letting you press ok? Any help would be greaaaatly appreciated Keefay

Ivan Kirilenkov	Posted - 2006.06.07 12:20:00 - [2] If you put it up for 0 isk, it's very probable that someone has seen it, and claimed it. If so, their name should be in the logg of your wallet. You may politely approach them and ask for you stuff back, telling them that it was a mistake etc, but please note that they are in no way required to give it back - so be polite even should they refuse.

The person that set a general escrow cannot find the name of who claimed it. This only works for sales on the market. The OP gave his stuff away for free because he filled in the form improperly.

I realise I was at fault for not setting the escrow properly myself, my newbie brain thought you had to have a name in the name box, or somethin along those lines. talk about bad timing, as SOON as id set the excrow, i went to check and jus make sure it was there, someone must have juust seen it go up :) Anyways, i hope this person puts it ll to good use, it sure made me learn from my mistakes thanx again folks :) very helpfull

I've also heard rumours that there are macros out there to trawl escrow and claim 0 isk entries, but that is pure speculation. Cheers, Arrs. Do you want a sig like this? I found that hard to beleive until I tested it a few times. Put 0.00 isk escrows up that were instantly claimed. What with all the macrominers out there, now losers using 3rd party programs to scan escrow, its about time CCP did something about the cheats that are infesting this game.

Escrows don't log the name of the seller. (Not even the seller can see who buys it). 2. There are escrow-scripts. Whether the ISD would ever want to admit it or not.

Cheers, Arrs. no, they are real if you get the spare time to copy a few k bookmarks then put about 2k in a shuttle, and put it up for 0 isk, you'll see your escrow is claim'd at the same time that you put it up.. repeat this abotu 3-4 times before the next one gets a few mins (2k bm's getting claim'd can lag the macro bots).. the big thing here is simple, make sure you fill in the stuff correctly. ------------------------- WTB Aurora S bpo - Evemail me in game..
