Asuming you have a POS running already and have 500 CPU spare, you just anchor your lab at it and bring it online.
Once thats done, your BPO's need to be in a corp hanger in a station in the same system. You also need at least level one of the Scientific Networking skill. If you then go in to your Science and Industry screen and change the filters to display corp instalations, you should see your mobile labs slots. You then use it just like a normal lab slot, only they dont cost you ISK (other than your POS running costs).
Each lab gives you 3 ME slots, 3 PE slots and 1 Copy slot. I believe they are faster than normal labs. Oh and if you do a copy, the BPC ends up in the lab, so you have to fly out to the POS to pick it up. BPO'c always go back where they came from.
Hope that helps. --------------------------------

Can Mobile Labs only be deployed in lowsec, or are they allowed in the new(ish) highsec stations?
I'd love to set up a tiny little POS for the express purpose of researching my various BPOs tbh. -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

ive heard rumors lately that a mobile lab does NOT need to have an outpost within the same system as the POS and that you can run it from a corp hanger array anchored in the POS. Is this true ?

personally put in, your skills (advanced laboratory operation does exist, right?) but you'd top out at 7(3 me, 3 pe, 1 copy) at a mobile lab anyway
you can run research from the hanger in the lab, didn't try from the corp hanger array, maybe next time I am on SISI i'll try
they are 25% faster in research than a normal lab ----------------------------------------- TCC Diplomatic core + combat pilot talk or shoot, makes no difference to me :) |

Mobile lab has its own hangar with divisions. Same division restrictions apply for lab hangar with addition of lab access restrictions. Why do you want to run research from POS corp hangar while you can do it from the lab itself? Makes no sense.
If there is a station in the system, you must prefer remote research from station corp hangar, since your BPOs will be safe. You have to rent an office at the station and put BPO in corp hangar, personal hangar wont let you do remote research.
