Well by that token I want to be able to be an Ishukone Shareholder.
More RP and gameplay integration would be cool. There's plenty of players who claims to be Amarr Holders, Caldari shareholders, or own X planetside assets and companies. It would be cool if that could be more than just words on a screen. |

So HUGE question for CCP.
Granted I am not a Gallente role-player, so my opinion wouldn't matter much in this matter lore-wise, BUT:
Are the actions of players in game and especially the postings of Gallente players in IGS going to in any way influence what is going on with this election? I know the capsuleer population is relatively minor compared fo the regular population and IGS a fraction of the capsuleer population, but politics are influenced by money and capsuleers have lots of it, and I would think SOME capsuleers would have notoriety planetside that would make people listen to what they say about who should be elected. |

They could look at who has been most active in live events and or IGS, who has been most active supporting the Federation (high milita rank and/or high standings with the Federation and federation corporations), or even likes received on the forum.
There's plenty of different methods, and of course I would not say that a few people should definitely decide by themselves what happens, but if say, MOST of the Gallente who regularly post on IGS were to say they don't want Roden to be elected again, then if CCP DOES decide to reelect him, the news post will make note that it was a close election or somesuch, whereas if most of them show their support maybe the news posting will mention a landslide victory with capsuleer support. |
