I note that there are currently lots of ways to sharpen our sensors, but the only way to defend against this is to remove your enemies ability to target you at all via jamming.
I'm wondering if a stealth module other than just the cloak might be a valid tactic to use. I.E. sacrifice tanking or WCS and gain longer lock times for your enemies and/or less hits as you're now 'fuzzy' in the targeting computers eye.
Just a note that there is no 'stealth coating' in Eve, but we have complete 'invisability cloaking'.

There used to be various stealth modules on the test server. I believe at first there was small to large all the way up to hugh stealth module. Each module with a set ûxxx sig based on the sized of the modules. They then swapped to 1 module with a û20% sig and you can only active 1 stealth module at a time. No idea why the idea was scrapped as it was pretty far along.

Some people (exam boards) would apparently argue that 07 isnt a proper number. Never get quite how they work that one out but still.
I would love to see a modules like that though. Slap it on an assult frig and have awsome resistnaces and an imposibly small sig  .

Remote sensor dampners on other people.
Other then that theres just a gang support module for skirmish warefare taht reduces your sig radius by 2% per level.

Halo implant set can help if you're looking for a bonus to sig radius... but it does mean flying around with 2 billion ISK in your noggin (excluding attribute enhancement should you use them).
