I made achura for the stats, but i am gonna fly galleante ships...should i do missions for caldari or galleante? and will there be penalty? is there anything i need to know? what are the repercussions? I see stuff about faction issue thingies, what are they? I am noob. Please advise thanks.

You can train for any ship you like regardless of race, and do whatever missions you like.
Only penalty with doing missions for one race is that your standings with their 'enemies' will drop. For instance, if you do missions for Gallente or Amarr your standings will drop for Caldari and Minmatar respectively.

You are a Caldari and you want to serve Gallentean? Sighs...
/me shakes head.
You can do mission for anyone until you start to gain/lose faction standings. Lose too many, and no NPC will like you. Agents wont talk to you anymore. NPC navy will also pop you if you fall below -5.0 and enter their space. E.g. Work for Gallentean and Caldari will pop you when you fly into The Forge, Lonetrek, The Citadel.
Repercussions? Player and NPC navy repercussions at the moment but more in Kali.

Nah, I dont fly a Thorax. I only buy Made in Caldari products.
