This weekend a new structure will be deployed at Port Redemption. Furthur proof of our desire to ensure proper care and handling of the beasts in our care.
SLAVE MINING SIMULATOR
While we always wish the best for slaves who pass through the SPCS's hands often the slave can be transferred to an owner who doesn't respect the SPCS's standards of quality and who will abuse or put the slave into dangerous situations.
To this end the SPCS has contracted with a known mining expert to develop a MINING SIMULATOR which will be deployed this weekend. The mining simulator can replicate using actual rocks in a holographic chamber the danagers of mining. Slaves will be sent in small teams to the simulators and exposed to various dangerous situations under totally controlled situations. Here the slaves under the guidance of Amarrian mining experts will be taught the proper methods for self preservation.
1. Proper fitting of portable breathing devices.
2. Proper use of atmospheric restoration equipment.
3. Proper use of safety equipment.
4. Proper evacuation techniques during a cavein.
While seemingly dangerous these exercises are totally controlled. Some slaves may suffer minor injuries from falling rocks but all will be donning the most advanced mining safety gear so any such injuries should be superficial. Likewise the poison gas they will be exposed to is actually designed just to make the slave ill and temporarily blind them. They will fully recover with no lasting effects.
All this will ensure they experience the true hazards of mining and will learn the value of safety.
The slaves will not be told this is an exercise thus they will not know they are protected. Instead they will experience all the fear and terror of a cave in, a poison gas explosion, a rockslide, this way they will better remember the lessons learned and their feelings of self preservation will kick in and lead them to survival.
Preliminary trials in an actual mine were very successful although some injuries did occur. Thus the SPCS has contracted to build this 100% safe mining simulator.
I believe the creation of this simulator at Port Redemption will furthur the lifespan of the typical mining slave by months if not years. Slaves who are educated for safety will be safe slaves in the work enviornment. Thus if the unfortunate occurs they will be prepared.

Indeed a most beneficent gesture. Hopefully, such aid will not necessary, but it is good to you are indeed thinking of the slave's good health and not any other potential benefits which might possibly perchance maybe result from their being alive!

This is psychotic!
The reasons for their benefits have been duly outlined by the representative. This is far preferable to some poor slave being pressed into mining service and finding himself death before two shifts of duty are up.

Do you not see the truth in the SPCS's methods? Do you not see a slave trained in our Mining Simulator has a much greater chance of survival than one who is not?
You are an evil fool blinded by misplaced rage. Do not be angry at the Amarr for we seek only the best for you. Instead be enraged at your so called "brothers" in the UshraKhan who lure slaves to "freedom" then leave them to die on the streets suffering the agnoy of Vitoc withdrawl.

I am pleased to report the mining simulator is up and running and the first load of slaves has successfully passed the trials. While some were injured slightly by falling rocks all were eventually OK and the blindness suffered by four slaves was only temporary. The simulator is an amazing success!

I am glad to see that PIE is making progress. With these processes and training, investment in forced employment staffing will certainly give a higher return on capital. A little money spent on training the employees avoids having to acquire replacements nearly as often.
