Revenge of the Fallen is an empire based Merc corp, currently situated in the Caldari area. We consist of a mix of newer players and old-timers alike, mostly on during US and late Euro times.
Established at the end of April 06, a number of core players got together and started RO-TF, with the basic goal to have fun, enjoy the ride and to see where it took us.
And fun we had/still have
After we settled some old scores we went from war to war, 1 more succesfull then the other, but for the large part, we did pretty well. Check our (new) killboard (up since may 22) RO-TF Killboard
Basicly, we used the time given to get our 'younger' chars some hands on experience, and most really performed very well.
(1 is really obsessed with drones though, should you join up, you'll have to take that into account  )
The people that where inactive/unsuited for pvp or didn't manage to sustain themself in the harsh pvp world where filtered out by natural selection and either left or got booted.
We also managed to make some friends out there, and gain a degree of respect both with allies and (most) (ex)enemies.
We have now established our goal, and that is to Merc. We will be taking contracts in the Caldari area within the next few weeks, as negotiations are already going.
To support our jump to the real deal and to expand our well-knit core of players, we are looking for  EXPERIENCED PVP PILOTS
Requirements:
1.You do not need 20 mil skillpoints for my part. You do NEED to know what you are doing.
2.If you do have 20 mil and up in relevant skillpoints, feel free to contact Bunnyslayer, Yzuki or GankYee Doodle ^^.
3.Selfsufficidncy: We do get paid on contracts, we can run lvl 4's, go rat 0.0 or do whatever together when its slow. BUT, everyone should be able to fill his own wallet by himself too, should harsh times dictate it. How you do this is none of my concern. (Just keep your sec status above -1.9  )
4.We use vent and/or TS. If you want in, get a headset.
5.Discipline during ops/contracts. Nothing is more annoying then someone blathering on about crap on the TS during an op. (Drones anyone ^^)
6. ACTIVITY!!! We are not missionrunners, we definatly are not miners, and when targets are out and about, we require you out there.
7.Last but not least: We play this game because its loads of fun. So we keep it fun. Sometimes you are on top and your strategies work out superbly, but sometimes everything goes wrong, and you get blown up. We always give a 'GF' in local, nomather what the outcome. Smacktalk is to be avoided, unless to bait out peeps that sit inside stations all day I guess ^^.

ok u have converted me origenarly i was gonna be a pirate but i think being a mercenary sounds more exiting.
i have 600k sp not much but most of it is combat related im quite new nearly can fly the profecy battlecruisar which i have bought enough stuff and trained to boost its sheild 2 6k.
all i realy need 2 know for know is were do i download the vent server!

Contact me or Gank in game. We'll be happy to show you both sides of the fence on the pirate/Merc issue. Not that we would ever concider piracy. 
The 600k sp is a bit on the low side, but all the great ones had to start somewhere. As long as you can follow orders while on an op you will be just fine.
We have a good time and enjoy what we do. We are a fairly tight knit group, who enjoys blowing people up and getting paid to do it.

Im glad you guys have chosen this path in the end!
Anyone that is considering them. They are good at what they do. Loads of fun and dont shy away from engagements, regardless of the odds. Even if they are outnumbered 10-1!
Great bunch of guys, good smak free engagements.

Thanks for all the kind words, the isk has been sent.
Recruitment has gone well so far, we have found 3 poloits that fit in with the corp well so far and are still seeking 2 or 3 more. We wish to keep it small. I would much rather have 10-15 guys/gals everyone can count on, then 50 guys/gals that don't know each other and we dont have time to train properly.

I hope I can catch you guys in time before you close recruiting. The idea of a Merc corp has appealed to me since day 1, and I've already figured out I dont like alliance life.
GankYee's recruiting post is one of the best I've seen...both the requirements and promises seem reasonable. I will try to catch you guys in game and give you a full resume...in-game name is Silkie Dtaret.

I guess the (most) in "gain a degree of respect both with allies and (most) (ex)enemies" does not apply to MDK, combined with "sometimes everything goes wrong, and you get blown up"
still: GF out there, there is no better teacher then defeat
