jarack	Posted - 2006.06.11 12:07:00 - [1] Hello people of eve. ive had a think today and i wondered what it would be like to be one of the main leaders, in a large scale, successful alliance, one or 2 alliances i know to name would be ASCN and BOB for obvious reasons, reasons being their reputation for things they do, BoB's famous motto, nice region we'll take it, and they do, ASCN's capability of putting around a dozen outposts up due to the large scale industrial work they do, these alliance have been around for a long while now, BoB since the days of M0o, and bob attacking Querious, and ASCN for their old paths in the XETIC federation, and their huge production line, so theres me little old peon in the world of eve thinking i just jumped into the boots of Blacklight/ or cyvok, and then actually being one of the leaders, my imagination ran me wild after that, i was thinking of me knowing what the whole alliance is upto, what their projects are, what their plans, for example these titan projects, i would know where and when they are produced, how cool would that be, about the income and outcome of the cash in the alliance, and generally just being a topdog in an alliance, having a good influence on the world of eve because your actions could change the whole course of eve for the good or my favourite, for the bad . or just gererally having a large reputation, near enough all the people in eve would have heard about you, how cool is that..... please dont flame, i just was thinking, so if you was to be a leader of an alliance, who and why would you choose

I like being in a smaller corp, telling the leaders to ****off, and then logging off, and maybe blowing something up occasionally. Or at least getting blown up.

I play Eve to escape it. Those guys probably look back and wish they had never gotten into those positions because now its like a full time job to play the game. As for beiing an alliance leader and which one - well none, I just don't like the idea to be alliance leader. More of an eploration kind of guy, smth which is kinda gimped in Eve (hope that the new things in Kali will fix that) and in the rest of the time i just want to shoot things. In the time I've spent playing the game I've fought alongside many ppl, most of which i consider friends by now. The rest is neutral The whole political crapola is way too complicated in Eve and at times against any logic or old combat friendship.
