Great just great. Need to reinstall EVE....
I patch EVE manually with the patches on the patch part of the homepage, so today we get a bugfix patch, my EVE says, cant patch. but the patch is not on the homepage.
Another screwed EVE install, need to make a new one, can this please stop????
All of above post was formulated wth 100% honesty and 100% sarcasm. Now i only need to get drunk
The 3rd turret is the Malediction is missing. Plz make as much noise as possible so that CCP gets us a remedy for that, possibly before X-Mas this year. |

We are investigating this auto-patch problem, ItĘs most likely another bug with build 1217 since its that build thatĘs doing the downloading. If any one gets this problem auto-patching from older builds please reply to this post.
Actually the path is: http://patch.eve-online.com/evepatch1217-1238.exe and the links to patches for older builds can be found here: http://eve-online.com/patches.asp
All patches that are under http://patch.eve-online.com/test are test patches that should only be used on Chaos.

It has been verified to be a bug in build 1217 that caused auto-patch system to fail for some users, however the bug is also in the new build 1238 so come next patch the same issue will arise.
To minimize any inconvenience of this we will make sure that the patch download pages are updated before the patch goes live, so you can start manually downloading and patching at least as soon as the auto-patch files are available.
