Went on vacation and in the meantime a director (sunzidane) cleaned out the corp hangars in two offices and made a new corp with his mate zombu2, called "Celestial Council".
Good thing i moved the large POS and expensive BPOs to an alternate corp.. Loss was limited to 350mill.
In this game you have to expect people will rip you off at every turn, but stealing from the corp that built you and gave you all you have, is that also cool?
I`m annoyed and i will hunt that ****** down wherever he tries to hide..

Corp theft is very much frowned upon in eve. one of the only dark side path things that are. They need killing.

corp theives can ruin a newer corp, and are one of the few things like darkelf said that you shouldnt do.

the worste part is 350 mil isnt jack in the grand scheme of things. These 2 wont be able to join a respectable corp nor will respectable players join theirs.

Baudolino you played it smart you made sure anything valuable was kept really safe. 350mil is a drop in the ocean. If you really trusted anyone that was in your corp would you of really kept anything valuable hidden??
Having someone thieve from your corp just prooves that you wasnt being paranoid after all. Personally id let it go or atleast wait until he has something valuable to take.

I see no difference in corp theft, scaming, ore theft, POS theft etc
but if you don't have a corp that trusts you and join after you've done the theft I'd say it's pretty pointless.

I feel for you. I too have experienced their corp thieving ways. I can hold a grudge for ages though and their time will come .

Yes, 4 and I caught zombu theiving small mods from our mod hanger and ousted them both before they could do any real damage.
Apparently it was a good move on our part.
Sorry for your loss, rest assured that these two aren't safe anywhere..

Join a big alliance in you area and see if you can get them to declare ware on them - That would make life interesting.

war dec them and corp ransom the money back, plus damages for the emotional stress. or hire someone to do it for u. incodently, murder-death-kill are offering a specail summer blow out sale right now. 3 4 2 !!! buy 2 war dec's, get one free

Can Only Agree.
There really is 3 types of Corp Theives
1st type: Is Loyal to the Corp but will take want he needs when, whenever he wants. If/when they leave the corp they will only take what they would need and whatever is extra lieing around to get started. Like, if there is 10 rifters they would take 2, any spares in skills, mods
This Type is kinda unknown, and accepted. although most times the Victums don't know.
2nd: These ones are usually alts, and lower range, if giving access to a hanger they will clear it out and cliam victory and leave.
3rd: Kill the Corp Type. They Will work on getting trust and then look for the time to make the biggest blow. Usually in the couple of Billion. Most times it's with a Alt, but sometimes not either,

Unless it's something simply HUGE, copr-theft would be just...meh.
350mil is more than I have, but not more than I can make if I were to go do some heavy mission whoring or npcing, or both.
Some people steal a few cruisers and a couple min in mins from a corp and run, that's just silly. I know someone who had a person steal 6 mining ospreys from the corp and bail, I really couldn't help but wonder wtf that person was thinking. A month from now, when that thief realizes a lvl 4 mission gives them more isk than each of those cruisers, they're going to feel pretty stupid.

Although corp theft normaly means your most trusted friends have stabbed you in the back (I should know...) it does mean you can get some serious revenge on them, and then when you get their pod you can treat youself to an extra beer

I remember this one time, zombu2 and SunZidane stole from my corp, then we war dec'd them for the next 2 years, which led them to quit the game and never be seen again. Oh wait... that's what we are going to do.

They will jump to an NPC corp before the war goes live, because not everyone wants to PVP.

The ******* wimps are just sitting in station until they log off. This war is gonna last until they start playing the sims or something instead..
If anyone knows of any alts they might have- please let me know. Sunzidanes alt is Zidanes, but he might have more and of zombu2s alts i know nothing.

I think corp theft has its place if its done as a method of offence by placed spy's, but when its your mates just trying to make a few isk ... its low.

I'm still confused as to how anyone is allowed in a corp these days without being required to immediately provide screenies of their opening page, one with each Alt highlighted - it shows all alts' names and info. If anything doesn't match up, don't accept 'em.
'Course this wouldn't prevent a first-timer thief, but at least you'll know who to look out for.
This method is what the best corps and Allainces I've been in demand.

Killing off corp thieves hiding in stations is a slow process, but in time- all that was stolen and alot more will be reclaimed in a veangefull manner.

1st to funni you declared us corp thieves because we found out what you where doing with our aliance in mp5 you kicked us out to shut us up so we don t talk to the aliance
well u got kicked out of it anyway when they found out so
u better be quiet
2nd how can i steal from the lancers when i wasn t even in the corp i left 2 or 3 month before that so my name is not hudini or david copperfield and you can wardec us so long and often as you want I DON T CARE we didn t even take the pos that was one of your guys and if you really wanna know i have an alt in the logistics come and find me
