I have read the rules and hope this is ok to post. If not please delete.
My wife just recently lost her father to The "C" Word. As you can imagine it has had a big effect on the family.
So my wife has decided to do something positive by taking part in Race for Life in memory of him and to help Cancer research treat and cure others.
If anyone is interested in helping a good cause, please give this link a click.

I have lost my oldest brother to cancer myself, and knowing the family history, anyone could be next. I fully support your wife's endeavors.
Always be there for her in this time of need. She needs the support

for those of you without much cash, here is another great way to contribute

it runs in the background using the spare resources of your PC to run cancer research simulations (e.g when you're just web browsing)
I run this and it's never caused me any problems. The more people use it, the quicker they can do their research :)

Having lost two of my friends (who were both in their mid-30s and each had young children) to cancer, I am very supportive of the cause and I sympathize with your loss.
My brother in law is riding in a similar event here in the states.

I love when things like this happen as soon as it happens to THEM, and never else. But if it doesnt happen to them ppl are like, cancer who?

My GF did the race today and did it within the time i challenged her to finish it within.
So, i maybe down ú50 but its for a good cause!
