Is it possible to run EVE on one monitor and click outside the current screen without EVE minizing? Man, that's frustrating....

Run Eve in windowed mode on the second tab on your escape menu.

Have you tried this? Even that doesn't work for me. I run it windowed, click on the other monitor and it still minimizes.

I've been running with a dual monitors in windowed mode since I started eve (about 3 months ago). Was using a GeForce 6600GT 128MB with 2 21in. monitors on stands. Now I have a dedicated GeForce 6600GT (NO SLI) to each monitor (Setup for 4 monitors using 2 currently). Clicking in and out of the windows (even to write this message) doesn't minimize eve.

I think there are programs you can use that give you this functionality, at least my friends with two or more monitors can click about no problem with eve in a 'fullscreen window'.

Anyone have any advice getting this to work? I use the standard nView, dual monitor setup.
I've tried windowed, full screen..doesn't matter. As soon as I click outside it minimizes on me. Frustrating.... |

+ Single display mode indicates that only one of your connected displays is used. + Clone mode indicates that both displays in the display pair show images of the same desktop. + Horizontal Span mode indicates that both displays in the display pair function as one wide virtual desktop. The width of each display is half the width of the total virtual desktop width. + Vertical Span mode indicates that both displays in the display pair function as one tall virtual desktop. The height of each display is half the height of the total virtual desktop height. + Dualview mode indicates that both displays in the display pair function as one virtual desktop. Unlike Horizontal Span or Vertical Span mode, Dualview treats each display as a separate device. This means that the taskbar will not be stretched across displays and 3D applications are not accelerated as efficiently as when the application spans displays.,
I run in Horizontal Span mode windowed at 1280x 1024 works fine with good fps.
The only problem i have had was setting to windowed at 1280x 1024 when running on Horizontal Span to get it to work i had to use Single display mode to set the res in eve exit eve then run eve in Horizontal Span.

Yes I use this to play Eve. I have Eve on one VDU in window mode and I can use the other VDU without Eve minimizing.
