Now the bookmarks are just mixed up in no recognizable order. This is retarded. All my bookmarks are fasioned to be aranged by name.
You have your Yulai bookmark, you have your Yulai station bookmark, you have your Yulai instadock bookmark. Now they can not be arranged next to one another. Instead, now they get spread out in the places tab in no decernable order.
I arrange my Bookmarks like this.
A1 - Yulai Station A1 - Yulai WayPoint A1 - Yulai ZoneSys A2 - Amarr Station A2 - Amarr ZoneSys
Now after last nights patch I have difficulty even finding A2 or A3.. They are all mixed up all over the place..
When can we expect a fix?

I'll read this after I post, but *please do not* post topics in caps.

I have to agree it's quite annoying, although on the good side it forced me to finally make some bookmark folders :)

Bookmark folders are a waste of time..
Folders are saved locally and Bookmarks are saved on the server..
If for some reason there is lag when you open people/places.. It will only show your folders.. Then by the time the actual bookmarks load.. They end up outside of the folders.
I deleted them after the first time this happened. I use zero folders.

Well, I've only used them recently and I haven't had any problems. I beleive they have done some fixes in the recent patch to folder(eg. they now saves) so maybe you should try and give it another shot?

I prefer them by Jump rather than by Name. |

I will tell you this right now..
Before last nights patch when people/places was fine. With the current size of my People/Places window, I could display 6 of my bookmarks without having to scroll down. Now after the patch it shows 7 of my bookmarks without scrolling, because the sorting bar is gone.
I will bet you real money by the time they fix it again.. I will only be able to see maybe 4 of my bookmarks without scrolling down.
Weird how these things happen. |

Out of a great patch this is the biggest festering pimple in need of a good lancing. The fact that it doesn't sort is not in itself what annoys me. It's the fact that it DID sort and that was apparently removed for some insane reason that annoys the crap out of me! Come on guys! Yeah.. They will put it back and we will all have massive memory leak issues again. |

Actually for me, the problem is that the settings got wiped on the last patch, so I lost my folders. The game wouldn't save new folders when I re-created them. So I start naming them my bookmarks in order to have my base-related bookmarks sort near the top. Next patch, sort is lost.
So now I have gone from a neatly organized list, through a lame workaround, to a complete mess that is nearly worthless. Your 150mm Railgun II perfectly strikes Serpentis Drug Baron, wrecking for 192.8 damage. |

Using folders and then use "open group window" sorts the bookmarks for me. Workaround atleast. - There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who donĘt. |

Edited by: Avaton White on 27/09/2003 12:47:20 My question would have to be: Why not just save the folder information on the server with the bookmarks themselves? Seems kind of silly not to. ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - Avaton White
