has the dt countdown been changed form 10 mins to only 1.
and if it has why would they do this ??

because you smell.
why are you complaining that they've speeded it up anyway? it used to take 10 minutes to boot up eve, now it only takes 2, and your whining about it?

i liked the 10 min countdown i gave me 10 mins grace to go make a cuppa b4 i logged on to do a complex that was nice and fresh.
Cos i smell no thats u just being thick m8! find the facts b4 u dish the insults

Or simply it still takes 10 min to boot up, but the counter only starts to display from 1 minute since they want to lower the load on the servers when all mofos knowing exactly when to hit the connect button.

perhaps they should put it back to the old 10 minute timer then, that way everyone else can suffer an extended downtime, and you can have your coffee whilst preparing for the complex.

But seriousley i didnt know it was to boot up eve.
I thought it was just a general countdown to let u know when EVE started up, not a boot up time
but u learn somthing new every day

Whereas now, instead of frantically refreshing the EVE client until you saw the 10 minute timer, you can now frantically refresh the EVE client until you see the 2 minute timer, then go make a cuppa.
10 mins to make a coffee....whats going on there then? Do you have to go to well to get the water or something, then light a fire with sticks to boil it?
