[Start Rant] Too be honest I do not know who decided it would be a good idea to do this, but quite frankly it sucks. I have well over 300,000 LP with one faction yet I cannot spend any of them on anything because I need insignia's to get anything. What exactly is the point of grinding missions for hours if I cannot enjoy the fruit of my labors all because I need these stupid insignia things in order to receive any modules. Hell, I'd be happy with having to spend 5x the amount of LP's to get a modules if it means I don't have to spend hours doing missions for a corp, and hope somewhere in there I get the one mission I need to farm in order to get the stupid insignia. Which brings up my next gripe with the whole insignia thing: needing to farm the same mission day after day (after the reset) in order get the insignia needed. Which means now not only do I have to forgo the mission bonus reward, but I also need to have 2 or more agents near me so I can do other missions until I have either farmed what I need, or I have to complete the mission before it expires. In summation the LP stores need to be completely redone to do away with insignia. [End Rant] |

Uhmmm, just buy the tags in Jita, they cost almost nothing usually. What in world would compel you to grind them your self? |

Look at the amount of insignias needed to get some federation tracking computers, which would roughly come out to about 700mil each for them which is insane. |

I personally love tags in missions. They're awesome to sell on the market and add profit.
I like the complexity of needing different things to get an item. Mindlessly farming LP to do a quick buy and sell might appeal to multiboxers though. |

Yes, we should destroy whats left of the LP market because you are lazy.

Stop declining all the faction kill missions that give tags and maybe you wouldn't have this little problem...
Either fully commit to your faction, or go do something else besides coming to the forums to ***** about the game and cry for changes to make it easier for carebears like yourself. The game is easy enough since 2003.... I'm just a modern day caveman in search of a bigger club. |

I love killing gallente, I just think looting is a pain in the ass (thank god for mobile tractors!). but my gripe is that the tags drop in a 14:41 ratio (to be specific the Colonel I and II tags, from the Enemies abound chain), where the lp store wants them in something like a 3:4 ratio. thus the one tag needs to be bought on the market at a rather inflated price, where the other tag pretty much gets sold off to the npc stations, that said I generate enough LP running missions that aren't kill gallente, andI pretty much end up buying both tags.
I recently ran a kill gallente storyline and was hoping for a bunch of colonel I tags, but if I remember right the ratio was completely wrong there too. You can trust me, I have a monocole |

Please add paragraph breaks in your OP so that it is easier to read.
OT, what would be the point of tags if not for the LP market? It's an added incentive to take anti-empire faction missions. Just buy the tags yourself if you don't want to incur the faction standing loss. |

The utter uselessness of the lower level tags is also a factor - the ones required for the LP store offers are effectively L4 exclusive and yet some of the offers are (or at least used to be) otherwise acheivable from L2s. Prior to the LP Store there were offers which tailored to the levels of LP and agent you were using and it is one of my bugbears with the current system that it places no value on the "Midshipman" level of tag where it could have created an interesting market where newer players provided a certain pivot (and the "Tags I collect myself are free" crew started running low level missions, which in itself would be amusing). I do recall a suggestion (some time ago) which would have allowed tags to be swapped out (10 Midshipmans makes a Lieutenant sort of thing) or which assigned each tag a numerical value and required a total tag value rather than specific tags but there was a certain entrenched opposition to the scheme from those who saw their stockpiles of Colonel II tags devaluing as a result |
