Everyone keep going on about Assault missiles, Whats the deal ? i can't find any reference to them at all, Is there any intention for them to exist. Or are people simply being morons.
if someone could find me ANY reference to Assualt missiles existance or proposed existance it would be great.
As Far as Im concerned They are deluded, and think that the assualt missile launcher is designed for its own class of missiles, Last time I checked its supposed to hold more Light missiles and Spam them faster . (Though currently They are marginally faster than a Heavy launcher making the heavy launcher Better)

Light missiles work better against frigates than heavy missiles afaik. Assault missile launcher holds more ammo before reload than a regular missile launcher.

Read the question please.
Are assualt missiles coming into the game or not. Because some individuals seem to think that CCP will be bringing in Assualt missiles for assualt launchers. And As Far as i Know they are just a light missile launcher with a giant capacity and a marginally faster RoF.
Which is the way they should stay (with a RoF increase preferable)
i just want to set my mind at rest and others.

i have seen a post by tux sayin assault missiles are comin, tried to find the post but couldnt, im sure they are gonna be used in heavy launchers not assaults and are gonna be short range heavy damage missiles.

Assault missiles are coming into the game. So far there are only some missiles called "Rage light missiles" on sisi, but these are placeholders for the assault missiles coming into the game some time in the near future. I think the base damage of the placeholder missiles are 225.

anyways, this is also why the nighthawk hasn't got a boost yet. The DPS should go up with the assault missiles
