its not out yet, i think in a few months they will release the titan skill and the titans themselves, like it took them a few months to release cruiser, then Battleships. just wait a while and they will be for sale after a specific patch, but mind out, the skill will be expensive, 30 million?? lol Do M0o take orders for T-bone's and 16oz? |

Yup. Titans wont be in for a while. The next big thing will be player owned stuff in space. Such as mobile refineries, construction facilities, and sentry guns. I also read somewhere that Elite Frigates are also up next.
Titans will be a while. But I agree that their cost will be MIND blowing. I mean:
Frigate skill - 40,000 Cruiser skill - 500,000 (more than ten times frigate skill) Battleship Skill - 4,000,000 (eight times cruiser skill) Titan skill - 30,000,000 - 40,000,000.
Similarly these benehoths will cost at least 700-800 Mil a piece. And their BluePrints? I can't even BEGIN to imagine how much that would be!

There is also a good chance that it will need the indy skill. As ships like the Mammoth already need indy lvl 4, my guess would be that you will need lvl 5 for the Titan.

I don't believe you will have blueprints for them, I think you'll only get one run of it or buy a platform to build up on somewhere in space (and then an egg comes along and installs into it in space when ready). And I'll guess the platform will be 200 mill or sumthing. |

I'd hope you are going to need high levels in all the ship skills as a pre-requisit to train Titan I.
Like Lev 4 frigate Lev 4 Cruiser Lev 5 Battleship and Level 5 Ship Command.

I know a corp that gets all titan bps once they come out.........

Platforms will be 100billion isk and stations plan on being 500billion isk. They will not be player owned but rented.
I would hope Titan skill will be more in line of Spaceship Command 4 Navigation 4 Industrial 5 --------------------------

Gonzo cruisers and battleships were in at release, it just took time for corps to get the blueprints...A Moa BP for example costed 80 mil, and that took a couple of weeks to get :)
The titan skills costs 20 mil. The titans will probably cost a couple of bil, absolutly _NOT_ below one bil.
Btw I just checked the db, and since last time I checked they have added a new Minmatar Titan! "Avatar" Exactly the same stats though :/

if ccp makes ships like this that expensive no new players will be able to fit in the game and ppl that arnt online often (the rich ones) wont have the time to mine for it all. if they make it super expensive itll only end in more unballancing etc etc as allways... --- "this song reminds me of the girl i met on a schooltrip, she was really nice, and she really liked me. This game is based on large corps with all members working together. Titans and Space stations were not meant or designed to be owned by a single character.
New players that intend on owning a titan or a station will have a LONG wait to get in them.
Your Mega Afocal Pulse Maser I perfectly strikes Asteroid (Veldspar) [R0ME], wrecking for 798.3 damage.
Your 425mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guardian Captain, wrecking for 685.9 damage.

That makes sense to me. If the game takes place in real time but my new character is only 3 days old and gets a donation from his Corp that lets him buy and practice his way to a Titan in a week, then I need to have a talk with my RL boss and find out why im still in a cubicle and not owning my company yet.
I keep a teddy bear in my pod with me. A teddy bear with sharp teeth, massive claws, and a pinache for eating the flesh of podded corpses. I call him "Fuzzy". |

In the code atm for [race] Titan demands; Leadership 5 Spaceship Command 5 [race] Battleship 4
Titan BP is planned initially for 600B , better start saving dudes.
Titan will only be used by the mega corps, and they in turn will have few of em. It's THE Elite ship, and solo players and few-hours-per-week players arn't realy supposed to.
Largest reason for using a Titan is deep space exursions, for mining or hunting. I doubpt that anyone would use a Titan in battle by choice considdring that stakes.
With the present stats of the Titan you can reach millions of cargo capacity and is thus very adebt for large mining operations with no station witin resonable distance.
As far as I know you can't dock another ship in a Titan, that would have been awsome for surprice attacks though.

Beacuse Titans arn't in the game yett.
They are in the code and a few where spoted during the Beta test. Personally I undocked (beta 6) my Exquror right after a Gallente Titan, the differance was like a guppy compared to a baracuda. they are huge. The Gallente is the only I have seen live, it's based on the same design base as Vexor and Dominix, and thus not too beautiful
Their fighting abilities will be slightly slightly better then a BS, due to more slots, but basicly have the somewhat the same CPU, grid and cap as a lvl2 BS. (This index is the current code, but will surley change somewhat when they are released)
They are to huge to use jumpgates, thus you need to have a jumpdrive installed. There are some serious drawbacks to jumpdrives so I heard, like some minutes for activation etc, but the positive side is you will not fall pray to gate campers.

These are Titans. Always bothers me when ppl don't read the background....
Anyway, someone mentioned a "new" minmatar Titan, called the "Avatar," are you sure it's a new one, and not the Leviathan many of us have seen screens of or even seen live? (Hear TomB flew one somewhere in Khanid/Kor-Azor a few weeks ago...)

Hey Perrin 'Goldeneyes' Aybara
Where did you get all this info? you seem very confident about it? all I've heard is rumours, one of which was that it'd require two races battleship skills (i.e. Gallentine and Ammar etc.)

About my sources, most comes from what I could lure out from people who have studied the code to see whats withing + some sources I cannot name. But I'm not involved personally with CCP in any way.
About the dual skill ships. There are (will be) as far as I know atleast frigates and cruisers and perhapps even battleships that will require skills from two races (and give according bonuses). These are NPC modified ships, ei pirate ships and the likes that you will be able to get hold of.
If they can be bought through BlackMarket or through agents I cannot answer.

I don't think Titans will be in the game for a few months. And during that time things will change so much that it's unpredictable and not worth talking about unless you like dreaming. ------------- RUS / RUA RUSSIAN Team

I hope they need industrial lvl 5. That would make more sense then battleship lvl 5.
