was mining happily in jita system, asked in local for some1 to haule my ore, and some dude came and stole it in a frigate:( I'v been mining all day long and for nothing..
something got to be done

If somebody not in your corp or gang takes things from your can you will be able to shoot them. They should start flashign red in the overview.

I wish my navy raven was as good at combat as at mining,
I mine over 3k veld in 1 duration with my brand new 4 miners II, but ore thiefts steal it every time...

its a good minig ship, it have large shild vs NPC frigs and can fit few launchers to kill them and have ok dronebay and cargo hold, so it spritty safe to mine in in low sec also

Why oh why do you need someone to haul ore for you? I'm pretty sure that Navy Raven has some low slots you're not using. With some Alpha or Beta Cargo Expanders, I'm SURE you could get that up to, what, 2000-2200m3 of cargo space? Then you can haul it yourself! Now you're got a mining laser platform AND a transport ship, all in ONE!

set a trap. I like this setup:
Ship: Arbitrator
Highs: 2x Miner IIs, 2x NOS
Mids: 10km Web,7.5km +2 Scrambler
Lows: med Rep, resistance boosters,or Cpu/pG upgrades
Drone Bay: I like Heavy Drones & or Mediums. Just mine with the arby, wait for the theif to attack. then nos, web, scramble and drone them to death.
Ive killed three Cormorant theifs with this setup

This have to be a joke why are u mining in a navy raven i feel sry for the poor ship and WCS in jita its high sec what can kill u ? and if they steal ur can just put a damn warp disruptor in mids and some drones a frig goes down in seconds.

Pfft. You think that's great? I mine in a Tempest all the time. When someone comes to steal my ore I scram'em and die of laughter while the poor bugger flies around me, can't get away and won't shoot me cause he knows I got my Concord Homies backing me up. So lesson learned eh? Always put on scrammers.
