The bookmarks are stored on the server so they cant be edited with a text editor. --- The Eve Wiki Community Portal |

There is no subfolder in the "settings" subfolder, so I'm not sure what you're looking for. If you want to backup your EVE settings and the BM folder data, just backup the following files/folders: %evedir%\cache\prefs.ini %evedir%\cache\settings\<all files> <- that's where your BM folders are
Once you've copied/moved those to some place safe, you can do whatever with your EVE folder. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

People's avatars are stored elsewhere, so that sounds pretty normal. Dunno about your font issue. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

Its the file called "char_123456789.dat" or whatever number your character might have. You'll have one of these .dat files per character (including deleted characters). To determine which file you can search for the exact BM folder name in each file assuming your characters don't all have the same BM folders.
But as already said its wise to backup all your cache including settings folder.

Sounds like you lost one of your files in Settings folder.

Avatars and such are not in your settings folder, but elsewhere in your cache.
