What is the point of learning higher than level 1. I would of thought they would of mad it the each level allowed a particular size of container. I have learned it a level one and can anchor my giant container anywhere.
If I have missed something plz explain to me. All my love and kiss to everyone out there.

Don't just think about the present, think about what'll be here in the future.
That's why i've abandoned my plans to train up the Cruiser skill, instead I'm using the time to frantically build up my Frigate skills and ISK so I can use, as well as afford and equip, the preposed Elite and Jovian Frigates.
Good times.

The levels should indicate how many containers you can anchor, as is now space is getting littered bad.

Then containers should be at least 1000 times bigger than they are right now.
The biggest container only holds 3900 units of cargo sapce.
Its not worth effort to anchor them.
If you are mining just jettison in regular containers and have indy haul them.

Do that and you forfeit any right to complain when an enemy takes the Ore.

Edited by: Quantum Gopher on 28/09/2003 12:22:42 Actually, I think them giant secures work better as temporary storage while the indy collects from them and flies back to a station to make a deposit.
They work best as part of a large operation.
Edit: Personally, I'd like to see a time bonus per level added to the anchoring skill...say a minus ten percent per level. Different items would require varying amounts of time to anchor.

Hmm...not a bad idea. I would like to add to this by saying we should also have an Anchored Items list that shows all of our currently owned and anchored items and the ability to right click on them to plot a course to retrieve them. This way we'd never lose them if we forget to bookmark them.

I remember problems before with being able to actually lock the giant secure containers. Does the anchoring skill fix this, are the giant and huge containers working the way they should now? |
