I really curious about something: To the Nyx crew(Est. Guys) -- Did you note whether or note the sentries cycled on to your fighters? If yes, did you lose any fighters to sentry fire?

They do and rather persistantly. Its quite an art trying to safe guard them when you do something like this.
Usualy we can avoid any fighter losses however in the case of the Rattlesnake we went all in and in the process lost 2 fighters (which had about 10% structure each from some 0.0 engagements which we had no way of repairing due ccp's over sight on fighter repair from motherships)
Handy as it freed up space for the spares to be loaded

Wow, thanks for the timely response. Needless to say this implies that the capital asset must be on the gate with the action to ascertain the health of the fighters in question.
As a carrier pilot, these issues are very important to me. Two nights ago I killed a lowly cruiser with a BS and assigned fighters and the brevity of the fight didn't allow me to collect data on the question I posed to you. If there was only some way where the sentries divided the number of seconds locked on a target per cycle by the number of targets such that a fighter or given ship in a larger group only had to sustain a couple rounds of attack! /sigh only can dream I guess!

i was actually able to find some footage off my old computer of me flying the snake. I don't have the video of me dying but like a bunch of others. I will be uploading it on eve forums in about 2 hours when its finished so check it out

That Rattlesnake had an sick tank. We found him flying solo, we were in an T2 fitted Apoc, Domi, and cruiser and thought we finally had him, only to find we couldn't break his tank in time before reinforcements came. The rattlesnake 50% bonus to torp/cruiser velocity is nasty. It is not long before your watching the action from your pod...
Nice work DeathSpawn66. It was nice to see a ship like that being put to good use and not just another decoration in a hanger.

Mine died real fast.. I was jammed and under sentry fire with 2 ravens, a geddon and scorp on me. Being the nub I am I was so busy thinking OMFG I didn't turn on shield booster till it was all gone.
Remember kids, beer and expensive ships dont mix :)
btw DeathSpawn, I seen the way you flew it in the video you posted and BIG kudos to the way you flew it.

yea that was one beastly tank i was glad to suicide my thorax to hold him there, then watched the fight in my pod lol we almost got it to structure when his friends showed up
