i had the luck to have the right to steal a matrox "triple head and go" from work (some guys are using that at the security PCs !) for the weekend
sadly, just for the weekend
what is amazing is that you hit esc, triple monitor choice, and all is configured
the framerate is quite horrible on my athlon64, 1GB ram. but omg
i had two screens at home, and thanks to GF who buys her own comp i could use 3 19" LCD for a day :p
(i borrow your screen, got a very large project to write, *cough*)
the immersion is something. it made me motion sick, and actually if you can get old screens on ebay or whatever, its something to consider if you're a hopeless addict
when travelling with corp mates you could see on the left and right, on such an angle!!
The biggest surprise is that you actually need to turn your head left and right :p
it gave a unique immersion really
Reality check was quite simple : started it at 10pm, and suddenly i noticed it was 4am
ah damn i had to give back the extra screen for her work, and the video card at my office :(
i want another geekgasm like this!!!!
if you use that be careful with screenshots..... 3800ishx1024 in png format are HUGE files
what really totally rocked was to put all windows on left screen, expand overview on right screen, and get an real full screen view in the front screen :D -

You should have grabbed a digital camera and took a picture of eve on 3 screens. Would have been nice to see...

Like all multiscreen shots, there would need to be an Apoc on the screen. Nothing else looks quite as good in 'long' format.
If you could get three screens vertically, Naglfars would look awesome :)
Sarmaul, Naughty Boy, Weirda, Kaylana, readme please :)

vertically it would be quite awesome lol
the WORSE was the speed-fitted rifter
omg *drops lunch*
it creates bugs too.. for some reason sometimes the camera gets IN an asteroid and the whole view gets bugged -

I have a Matrox Parhelia sat in a box at home, it has 3 monitor support but I suspect the frame rate would be aweful. The graphics quality is amazing on the Parhelia but it just doesnt have the raw 3d power of ATi and N-Vidia chipsets. I just need to get 3 monitors, oh and the desk space. I could steal some 17" CRT's from work but they take up too much room. Maybe one day.....

Used to run eve on 2x19" CRT's but i found that if the client went over onto the 2nd monitor then the framerate droped to less than 3, tryed that with both ATI and Nvidia cards. But that was only in windowed mode, Fullscreen it was sweet!.
