What's the point of having faction requirements on clone jumping if you can just move the clone to another station. Seems to me like you should have to have faction in any station you are trying to jump to.
I mean, all clone jumping is doing now is creating a market for selling faction, and then people just move the clones to anywhere they want. If I'm going to jump to a serpentis station, I should not need good faction with ISSN to do it.
I was under the impression that this is how it would work when it was first released. Maybe it was the intention and the devs overlooked something. Fact is, it's way to easy to place clones anywhere you want.
Please keep from flaming because you wouldn't like the system if it were like this, just keep constructive post here. Even though we know that won't happen

It is not faction standing that is considered it is corp to corp standing. (/end nitpicking) The reason, as I surmise it, that a station will honor the jump clone of someone with low faction standing would be called reciprocity. A common theme in most diplomatic relations between nation states. "I'll honor your {x} if you honor our {x}." e.g. Since Minmatar stations will honor the scum commonly known as Amarrans the Amarrans honor the scum commonly known as Minmatar. This makes sense as far as gameplay is concerned as well as roleplaying. And while it may seem that it might be more fun if this was not the case I'm sure the fun would be limited to a select few as opposed to any actual enhancement to the feature. Gameplay Functionality > Roleplay Considerations. Any roleplayer can argue his way out of more than just a wet papersack. And if given the chance to impede gameplay with copious amounts of roleplay justifications and hearing oneself drone on... ...

You do realize that your misuse of the term "faction" doesn't do anything to make your point any clearer, do you?
But I'll speculate that you'd rather not see the option to move the clone and the flexibility that comes with that. Instead, you propose what? Having your jumpclone tied to your standings and your corporation's standing forever? Or not at all? Or what?
I agree, the system has too many loopholes to let you see any intent behind any aspect of it. But I don't think it's such a terribly bad thing that you can easily set up jumpclones to travel to all points of the map at will.
In fact, I'd even help you do it

No they don't and here's why i have such a problem; Right now, it makes pirating way to easy when you can move back and forth 100's of jumps in the blink of an eye w/o really having to earn the privilage. Not only that, but you can leave a corp for it's enemy and still jump into conq. stations b/c jump clones are there.
It bypasses too many defense mechanism that corps may have, whether in npc stations or in conq. stations.
Don't play the nub game with me because you don't think I'm right. I've played this game for 2.5 years and I persoally believe that it's an overlooked exploit that the dev's need to change. Right now, it's just way to powerful a tool to use.
All I'm saying is that the actual station you are jumping to should require good standings to use.

I really don't see this as an exploit, it's just sensible from a gameplay perspective.
From a story perspective, the standings required to setup a jump clone at a station just reflect the massive amount of Fluid Comm. data which has to get exchanged for it to happen, and Fluid Comms costs ISK. What's more, it also reflects the pain in the ass it is to do - so you need to like the guy doing it. Finally, it IS a very advanced piece of technology, and you don't want to let just anyone near your stations precious jump clone creation equipment (responsible for linking up the burning scanners to bounce the jump clone correctly to an emergency clone station if you're podded).
Once you have a jump clone though, it's really just another pod capsule with a body in it, being stored in your private hangar. Clone jumping takes places entirely between the two pods, and the station authority is never involved. If the station is taken over then the station authority has to wait till you vacate the hangar to get at you - there isn't an array of cloned bodies in vats that they can go through bashing the heads in with sledgehammers, there's just a pod sealed up in a hangar with a dormant clone body in it.

There is some validity to this arguement. This is not the forum section for this thread anyway. It is more noticeable and likely to get more responses but not going to generate anything useful... for yourself, us, or CCP. I've been playing for far too long to bother with how little time you have been in Eve. Length in game game has little relevance to wether you know what you are talking about so don't make it a condition of why you should be heard. Far too easy to dismiss it and/or troll it. I do think you have a point... but without anything to replace it with, something balanced, you are not likely to see any change. Just grief for trying.

It's so refreshing to see a concise point at last. Even if it's only an opinion without much of a supporting argument. Thank you. Next.

Read the whole post next time, and you'll see the supporting arguement. Stop the trolling crap.
These forums aren't even worth the time, too many idgets who'd rather troll than be useful.
