Hello everyone,
What would you think of adding light carriers ?
Battleship size
Up to 10 heavy drones (not fighters/bombers, keep those for caps)
Decent tank (equivalent to rattlesnake or so)
Bonus with shield/armor RR
Something like a little Nyx
I tries Rattlesnake on Sisi, this thing tanks a lot but the dps is... low, like 600 dps with all skills lvl 5 
The best way to use it is to take all aggro, never launch the drones and bring some friends to kill everything... This is ******** !!
Any ideas ? |

Dominix is still good enough for jobs like this. Want more rr then you should fly logistic. Want more dps use turrets on dominix. Want more dps and rr fly carrier. Want your ship = want IWINBUTTON. |

Well i'm at a point that is think of getting rid of drones and buy a Tengu...
Dominix dps is the same as Rattlesnake's, and they're both very far to hit as hard as a Machariel... Ok Machariel doesn't tank but oh well...
Carriers can't be use in highsec right ? If not please tell me and lock this thread ^^
I don't wan't capital reps, just something to repair my drones when damaged without loosing too much dps
Guns on drone boats do like 20% of the total dps you know... |

No. If you want carriers, leave high sec. Its not that scary. |

And leaving highsec, mmm, ok sure, but being in a like 10 active people alliance, it's gonna be fun when 200 ships jump to my pos...

As for a carrier that can't move on its own....too bad? Thats the entire point of them? They are first and foremost corp/alliance level assets. They help encourage the whole player interaction thing.
If you aren't willing to do what it takes to use OMG MORE DRONES then you're just going to have to accept the domi/rattle/scorp navy as your big drone boats. |

Navy Sentry Domi will be able to hit 1160 dps with all 5 skills and 5% hardwirings @ expansion the 29th
1148 with rail spec 4.
