I posted the work around for this in another thread...
you just find a spot up top of the window that will move the whole frame around, then just right click and select close.

Something similar may happen to your cargo/drone bays when jumping.
Usually when you starjump while these windows are open. The windows disappear, then reappear on the other side of the Stargate.
Well i've had them disappear and never come back. They were open.. I could tell because the mouse cursor would change when I hovered over where the cargo/drone windows should of been. But they couldn't be closed or reopened in any way. Even using hotkeys.
Starjumping again brought the invisible windows back to life.

The actual spot is right next to the tab that says "All Items." just to the right of it.
Every jump you do while the Assets window is open adds another "Updates to Global assets reports are delayed 5 minutes" phrase. Everything above the first phrase is unclickable... everything under the first phrase IS clickable. So just go under that phrase and right click and select close.
This has worked for everyone that I have shown it to so far. Unless you have a special problem it should for you.

Just did what Drutort helped me with, now I got a new very exciting problem...... This time the assets wont come up again just as described, I relogged and up it went when I clicked it. I then closed it and tried to open it again....NOTHING And this is VERY FRUSTRATING since now I cant have it up when I jump since then it wont go away OR I could choose to close it before I jump and never open it again until i relog. This is great

There's a minimize button hidden somewhere just above the actual assets list itself (i.e. at the bottom of that empty space between the frame and assets)
Keep clicking and eventually you'll be able to minimize assets.
Right click on the minimized tab and select Close. ------------ Ezra Cornell pe0n, Xanadu Corporation |
