Personally I find this sad, mainly because I really would have liked to see the Nighthawk AND Vuture be proper command ships. I.E. They are focused on purely gang and fleet rather than damage. Even if they took Nighthawk as having bonus to gang of no more than 10. And Vuture of unlimited.. etc etc. That would have been fun. But as for agility, I think you are spot on with that and I agree 101% .. I will let it go about the SLIGHT nerf --- For T2 Tinfoil Hats, contact Grainsalt ingame.

They must surely know somethi ng isn't right, and they probably will fix it with assault missiles or something, I can't possible have a clue on what they thinking. A they did give us the BEST game ever, not mentioning the hard it can be balancing a game of this magnitude. We just want the NH fix soon :(

The nighthawk is not designed to "stand and deliver" on equal terms with other field command ships. Its design is different, to do something other field command ships cannot do. If a nighthawk loaded with precision heavies is not pure sudden death for any hostile frigs in range (assuming the pilot has good missile skills), THEN there is a problem. The Nighthawk should be, by design, THE most dangerous ship in the game to small ships within its range. If it is not, then there is a problem. Going toe to toe "stand and deliver" with other Field Command ships is a non-issue.

STAND AND DELIVER!!!

It is well established that all other "HAC" Commands have higher DPS than their HAc counterparts. True Tux said that he wont fix it before he does the short range heavies. Still I feel this is a dubious answer at best. Say it gets a better DPS with them, wont it still be worse of than a Cerb? Say the Astarte did less damage than a Deimos with rails on. Would that change if blasters where suddendly introduced. What people dont just blurt out is that they fear that short range heavies might be too high DPS on the Cerb. At that point a campaign will start to nerf the Cerb (remove the rof bonus). Personally I think its pants. it now does 300+ it might do 400-500 with a short range weapon systems which will still be like half that of other Commands. Moreover the Nighthawk is way too slow and has no grid for mwd so it cant use a short range system as things stand (even if one was available). Personally, therefore, I feel they should give the rof/kinetic dmg combination to the nighthawk asap. Will it happen? No. Why? Because despite popular opinion the minmattar whining cartel is the champion forum whoring power in eve. IMO forget about the Nighthawk ... Cerb will tank the same as a Nighthawk unless if you are webbed or being hit by a an uber inty gank fleet. Thats not enough to justify the DPS decrease and (eventually... in 6 months say) higher price tag of a Nighthawk. Above all it doesnt justify the training time (a currency much more valuable than isk in eve).
