Meeko Gloom	Posted - 2006.06.21 20:09:00 - [1] With the new and updated Hawk, Jag, Wolf, and Vengeance will the Ishkur and Harpy still reign supreme over the rest? IMO The Iskhur is still the best. They all new seem to be very good maybe even "balanced" and I would gladly like to fly them all some day. They all have their Strong points and aren't over shadowed by the other AF of their race like the Hawk was Pre-patch. Pls Talk about your views on the best AF and flame each other to hell -------------------------- Guns dont Kill People Drones Do

Bazman	Posted - 2006.06.21 20:34:00 - [3] The Jaguar I see as the perfect counter to the Dual Nos Ishkur now, the Ishkur simply won't have the firepower to kill it before the Jag thumps it one. We might see the re-emergence of 3 gun setups on Ishkur now, which is less effective in general against AF's which rely on cap for guns. The Hawk isn't even all that hot, its bonuses may make it a strong missle fighter, but since they had the sence not to make it have a ROF bonus, it's not the Raven of the frigate class :p Its still very powerful now though, its actually a viable T2 frigate missle platform. Ghost003	Posted - 2006.06.21 21:03:00 - [6] The Hawk needed to have the ROF bonus as it stand right now it sucks with its 9 Secound ROF. Rockets arnt all teh great either. It is Far from the best AF. With a tank on it thought i was able to kill the jag and the wolf.

With out NOS I think the moa would die a horrible death to both the hawk and harpy. On you not even using your bonuses and if you do the Harpy shoots further, And a blaster Harpy might do more DPS, and a Duramoa. However you can also fit 3x med pulse twos with dmg mods or a plate on a vengence so it is quite good as well. Id have to say its pretty close there, but id give a slight edge to the vengence.

What setup did ya use to be able to put 2 shield ext(medium)? 3 200mm AC's, 1 arb rocket launcher, 1 CCAJ mwd, 1 med t2 shield extender, 1 best named shield extender 2, 1 20km mwd, 2mapc, 1dmg control. if you use the smaller Ac's i believe you can fit 2 t2 med extenders. works well with the jag's good shield resists.
