Something I thought of recently, but im not sure how they will fit in the game. After a quick search I have not found anything along such lines in the forums, just new t3 combat ships. CCP's idea seems to make a lot of very niche ships to increase the varity in space. Not particularly a bad thing, but I fear, players want something convinient. Furthermore, this will open ships with specialised cargo bays for all races.
The core ship has 1 subsystem slot, the cargo subsystem. This cargo subsystem can be outfitted with various specialised versions , like the one we currently find in industrials, but overall smaller capacity.
Basic Ship:
+ low cargo capacity
+ Slots 1/1/1
+ average speed/align
Subsystems may include:
+ Ore, Mineral, Pi, Charges,Hangar Subsystem -> +0/3/3
+ Covert Subsystem -> +1/2/3
+ Defensive Subsystem -> +0/2/4 or +0/4/2
+ Speed Subsystem -> 0/3/3
Other things to implement:
+ add the skills {Racial} Modular Industrial and {Racial} Industrial Subsystem
+ add new Sleeper artifacts or even alter some signatures to build these Ships, rather using the ones used for T3 Cruisers. For eg, "Talocan Industrial Hull wreck"
Feel free to add new ideas or expand on the ones i thought of. |

I think CCP will be more interested in making more T3's when they prove to themselves they can get the cruisers working properly.

well i wouldn't count on it CCP stated earlier that they going to re-balance the capitals and T3 ships last, they also stated that its going to be a pain in the *ss (wel not in those exact words but you get my message)
