Ive already reported this. Curious if anyone else has noticed that you do not need to go through the last gate and engage the webber where the BS's are?
the mission completes prematurely at the group of rats just before the last gate.

I thought they changed it to the early ending because too many people would go though the gate, think they had to take on the fleet and get slaughtered.
On another note, the most recent time I did this I noticed yet another acceleration gate in the middle of that fleet. I took a screen shot but am at work atm and can't post it. Anybody ever been through that gate?

To stave off the "that's been asked two billion times" reply...
The last gate is just ornamental. It doesn't go anywhere.

Im actually refering to the gate that LEADS to the huge fleet of BS's and the webber. Ive done this mission countless times and it never completes until you spot the fleet and destroy the webber.
I do know about the gate that lies beyond the fleet of BS's. Im not refering to this.
whats happening now is you dont even have to go THROUGH the gate that takes you to the webber and fleet of BS's. You destroy the group of pirates guarding the gate and the mission is over before you meet your objective (and go through the gate). Which, according to the mission journal (and that we all know) is going until you spot a large fleet of BS's

if thats true then they need to change the mission journal or do something about that gate. people are still going to go through that gate. if they were dumb enough not to notice the mission completed after destroying the webber, then theyre dumb enough to continue through the gate and meet the same fate.

I ended up needing help on this (I only had a Scythe, and had hardly been doing level 2 missions). Anyways, I did have to beat the webber.. (it wouldn't end without me defeating it). Then I convinced my freind (who had come to help me) to attack the fleet. He died in seconds.. and I warped out.

Don't know about his, but I just ran it last night and the mission completed before I went through the gate to the BS fleet...

My pilot was on Human Cattle 5/5 when the patch broke the spawns. When that was fixed, I restared the mission and everything seemed to be fine but IIRC, the mission completed as soon as I dropped out of warp into the last pocket with the fleet and the one "webber" frigate. I took him out anyway because, dangit, I lost my bonus and I wanted his dogtag.
