My Friend was ambushed and shot down when he jumped into Obe tonight. So we reequiped and went hunting the scumm that did him in. Typically he loged after his great victory. So we hung around the jump in point watching folks jump in. Your lucky we were not hostile several of you could have died real bad there folks...You know it was alot of entertainment reading the local playground...bunch of kids..."Oh yeah?!? I would kick you F***ing ass if I had my BS!" " I am not scumm look at my security rateing" Blade did everything possible to get them to come fight him...even offered a 500k isk payment if they could kill him. Guess they did not have enough people on tonight to do the job...or was it the fact he was at the gate first? I dont know. Here is a hint folks set up a book mark to warp to soon as you go into Obe...The scumm are getting tired of sitting at gates. As for some of this scumm that jumped in to OBE why did you not engage those two cruisers sitting there. After all two cruisers against a Battleship? You could have won.

GM's told us to leave the warp in point last night. 6 of our frigates took down a tempest...

Lol, we had 3 scorps havocide  , at that particular moment it was just us frigates tho.
Billy bob warped in to help out at the very last minute, but we woulda had him for sure
And sorry for not operating in high sec. space, it was so much easier to pick a fight in low sec  , don't worry tho an alt. is on its way to work as a fully operative high sec. space demon (used for daily ****ing ppl off, and wars we have with ppl).

Merc frigates!!!!!!!!!!!!.
We have seen you guys alot in Obe, and i once juped in right on top of one of your members, nothing happened and we went on our ways.
What i want to know is who do you hunt there??.
Im sure you know that we are there alot lately, and hunt paladins/m3g4.
We wouldnt want any mistakes to happen if you warped in on a group of us. And the same if we warped into you guys.
if you are there to kill these rats, maybe we could be non agressive to each other?.
I actually thought u were there as allies to paladins .
My mistake sorry.

I fly a bantam, i have a few of them just sitting in my hanger waiting:) so no problems here in replacing it.
Thoses 125mm rails are a nightmare to find though, must be a shortage of them in EVE.

I've been finding quite a few 125mm rails, of the carbide variety and the odd Proto
Msg me in game and I'll tell you where to look

They are darn good, who needs thoses tachyon cannons, when you can fit 2 125mm rails onto a bantam, and go one on one with any BS in the game.

We've had our warning - I'm sure if we repeated the exercise they would kick us out.
I didn't see it as an exploit until we were warned - why should I? If you're travelling in to space where the security is below 0.5 and you don't check the map for a pod count or ships destroyed then I think you deserve a quick education. The GM's disagree and we have to comply with their wishes.
The entry point is dangerous if you free warp in without auto or bookmarks but it's not impossible to slip by.
Removal of this as an option - plus the addition of sentry guns at each gate means that there is less and less opportunity to engage in a bit of surprise PvP. If it continues then you're going to have a boolean - it's either Empire space (in which case there is no surprise PvP) or it's not! If that's what people want then fine - just don't expect everybody to hang around and play 'EVE - The Mining Simulator'.

I think that there is and always will be a way to have PvP. so what if gate camping gets nerfed or jump point camping gets nerfed also. there will always be a way to fight it out.

Even 6 frigates would take some time to take a Tempest down.
Were you using drones to increase the load-in time to give you more time to gank him?

Nope - how many drones do you think we can fit in a frigate? I've never seen or heard any member of this corp look to use those kind of tactics - not our style.

If memory serves the tempest that went down was a pirate from a differant corp not on our allies list and he was attempting to make a go of it but got locked down except for a brief scary moment for one of our frigate pilots. We locked him back down before the frig exploded. He took it in stride. We did not use drones.
It was a valiant but fruitless attempt by the Tempest once he was locked down with EW and warp / web. Good luck to all and we do look forward to more avenues of pvp combat rather than camping of any form.
