Hello,
i have gathered near enough 50mil isk to play with and was wondering what would be the best way to 'invest' it into doubling or tripling it.
i have heard that reselling faction items is a good way to make money and if so..how much money does it make and what items resell well?

I'm afraid that reselling faction items will take far more than 50 milions starting capital, as well as a good grasp of the worth of said items (and the prices change daily). It requires you to browse escrow often and when you spot a decent deal, quickly decide if buy it or not.
The best way to invest those 50 milions would be back into your skills and ships.

oh right..if i wanted to start how much capitol would i need roughly??
and do you have any idea what sells half decently?
for god sake isnt it annoying when you cant tell people sigs from the post |

Honestly, don't bother with trying to play the market until you have some experience of it. You will just make bad deals and lose ISK.
The people who make money on the faction market are people who have played a long time, and use the loot, and can make good, fast guesses at the worth, rather than just reading off an internal price list.

Buy and sell T2 or named mods. Dont need faction mods. Player or volatile market is your friend. NPC market is boring. Only volume counts.
