Why is your choice between a proteus and an orthrus? I just don't get it, they are somewhat differant in how they operate. One, a dedicated kiter the other a tanked up blap boat with a long point. In fact the only similarity is the point range bonuses.

It wasn't that long ago that the idea of getting a 900M ship was a dream for most people. Hell. I remember the days when you'd be hit with convo requests if you undocked in a 100M ship.

yes, on the forums I too can guffaw at a piddling 1 bil for a cruiser. However, in game, most people are not going to undock in a bil ship because they can't afford it. |

It is the laws of supply and demand.
CCP has created a ship that is vastly over-powered when compared to anything else in it's class, was warned about it, and did nothing. The supply demand curves intersect at a very high price because PvP'ers recognize this.
Not much will change unless the ship is nerfed, because the supply is not going to alter much going forward.
Most people viewed Orwell's writings as a warning.
The harper regime and the goons treat them as a guidebook. |
