Edey 3	Posted - 2011.11.19 23:33:00 - [1] - Quote Hello there! Today I was flying all those new BCs and it didn't feel that my DPS or damage overall was really high as CCP said (Didn't they?). I might be not an expert on balancing issues but shouldn't those ships have drones, at least like Talos? (Therefore Talos should have drone bay with the increased size or/and more bandwidth) When I jumped in a Cane after Tornado I didn't feel that difference in damage output at all. Moreover I felt much better in a cane because I had more things I can do (different fits and other things) because of total number of fitting slots. Plus I had drones. tldr: Tier2 BCs live much longer, do almost the same DPS, have drones. Shouldn't tier3 BCs have drones at least? To compensate lack of defense and versatility.

The role it would fill is already filled w/ the Rokh...if you could call it 'filled' as i don't think there are all that many pilots who use Rokh in that role very often... It a Caldari boat, for caldari pilots who train missiles. You arleady have one Hybrid boost BC, give Naga back its Torps. Another reason, we already have a Hybrid Tier 3, its called the Talos. Nuff said.

And talk about drones. I'll buy some Rifter for sure to kill all of those Nagas or Tornados. I mean BC with no drones is a dead meat against smaller targets that can have decent orbit speed, expecially with Large guns.

But if you're a part of some good alliance money is no longer a problem. My main corp compensates everything up to BS including mods up to T2.

If anything give it 8 missile hardpoints so people can fail fit it for comedy killmails or 1/2 large rails 1/2 some standards for anti frigate work either way the current setup is a metric f*ckton better then the torp naga.

And they don't want their new shiney to have the same old blob of missiles coming from the center of the ship. This should have been fixed before they re-did ALL the turrets, or atleast at the same time, so it wouldn't look so ********.

tika te Royal Amarr Institute Amarr Empire 18	Posted - 2011.11.23 08:49:00 - [13] - Quote actually except for tornado and to some degree oracle, naga and talos have a looong way to go before they'll make any sense. just look at talos: how can a paperthin bc-sizes ship with large blaster ever fullfill the role of a blasterboat? it's defective by design and giving it 5 small drones wont change anything here... i wished ccp would still listen to players - it all started weeel, but there was no devs-reply for two weeks now on tier3 bc and hybrids...

Indeed, it is fun. But for that price of the ship I want a little more. Oh and about Galss cannon: Those BCs already have low armor/shield/hull to be a glass cannon. Drones won't make them less "galss".

I see no point of Naga too since Rokh is better at every aspect except velocity. uh, thats the whole point. large weapons on fast boats. tier 3 bc's do exactly what theyre supposed to - long range mobile dps to counter BC and BS hulls. the only HUGE problem is....most of these boats, especially the AC Tornado, can track and melt frigs and cruisers with ease from 80km+. in addition, these ships move faster than HAC's. while they can be killed by HAC's no problem, tier 3 bc's should not be replacing them. also, so many noobs in this thread.
