can any1 tell me the best way to do this also how do i find out which corp and which faction the convoy belongs to?

just make sure you're at least 55km from a sentry gun - then attack away!

make that 60km, i think some top of the line sentry guns can shoot for 60km.

Make damned sure you're also well over 50km from the nearby station.

yep i have been staying well clear of sentry guns any other tips also how do i find out the corp and faction that the convoy belongs to?

Corp and faction of a convoy leaving a station are always those of the station they came from.

yeah, you wil also losse fracktion standing whit the race that the corp belongs too and, owning empire that controls the region.
If it aint nailed down its mine.

I have only seen convoys in 0,4 systems i think.
Are there any convoys in 0.0 space ?

hehe i dont know if that still works but in the beginning i made lot of money doing this ... if you stayed 5km and + from the convoys they would target you but never shoot you . if you go closer they start shooting and will shoot you unti like 20 or 30 km

There are convoys from 1.0 down though I haven't seen one in 0.0 yet. Also some of the sentry guns can fire out to 70 km I think. Had a buddy get ganked by one at 65k. Sometimes research hurts.

Make sure you are 56km away from any sentry guns and there is no police nearby. If no indys near the station do a 1000km scan by range (usually finds them). Cargo scan the convoys and ONLY kill the ones with worthwhile cargo. Once you have killed an Indy or two, do not return to the station the left for 15mins, or the sg's will blow you away. Im not sure how much of a corp/sove faction hit you take for each one, however i do know from personal experience if you drop below -4.0 with Caldari state, their military will chase you out of their space. Not much opf a problem if you have a mwd fitted.
