Hey, I have been checking out this EVE card game thing and I was just wondering the communitys input is, do you like it, have you tried it? Do you think its cool. Just post anything to do with it.

Read my post ;)
And you will see
It is the "Install the card game into real eve and get 1 million more players" post
So I do care about the card game

It's not shipping till July or August actually, so unless someone was a beta tester, they haven't tried it yet.
The Rules and some Sample cards are available at http://www.eve-ccg.com/ however. It's looking good! Preordered both box sets myself. -- Lil Miner Newbie Skills Roadmap | Visual Building Guide (Both work in game too!) |

It took about a week for my order to be processed I think. Went from no update to fully paid. Hopefully we should be getting the pre-ordered cards here pretty soon? Haven't seen a specific date yet. -- Lil Miner Newbie Skills Roadmap | Visual Building Guide (Both work in game too!) |

I haven't seen mention of it but they realy should have considered taking the time to show the game at the LARGEST CCG and GAMING convention in the US (maybe the world) ...
GenCon
Just a thought.

It will probaly sell well, but not get played alot. Only Eve players are likely to be interested, and i'm not sure how mnay Eve players spend RL time with other Eve players.
Proably gets alot of play around CCP offices though.

Edited by: Brother Tycho on 20/07/2006 16:34:54 i think that if the card games good enough theres no reason for it to be big with the currant trend towards collectable card games with younger folks all eve needs now is its own Anime Series i know i would view it.

The CCG pre-orders will be shipped within the next few weeks, most likely just before the official launch at Gencon Indy next month. If you can make it to Gencon, CCP will have a booth and a number of tournament/demonstration tables. We are also going to have a few EVE Online demonstration stations. Things are looking good for a great time.
So far, there has been an early beta preview at the FanFest and some small playtest groups in Iceland and the UK. Gencon will be the first opportunity for the public at large to see the game. As a result, you're not going to get a lot of response asking about playability.
I have played it a bit, it is easy enough to pick up in an evening, but you're not going to master it in a couple hours. The game is more M:TG than Pokemon, from what I understand.

Edited by: Kaylana Syi on 20/07/2006 17:51:20 I bought a box set and I would like my local comic, card, and video shops to cary this. Kieron is there any way I can get the information for distribution for businesses?
I could even use my own media company for local distribution.
Any info would be boobies!
