I recently purchased a Stabber. Partially because I liked it. It's fast, fair loadout, not bad stats wise. But I am unsure how to outfit it for PvE and mission running (L2 missions etc). Any help on loadouts would be appreciated :)

I break the rules on level 2 stabbers. Its btw my favorite ship for wtfpwning level 2s which I just happen to be doing at the moment cause im changing faction. I mean im actually running them as I post in a stabber so sort of topical for me =)
My rig for running them is:
---HIGH 4xfrigate beam lasers preferably something close to medium modulated 2xHeavy launcher
---MID Afterburner II Cap recharger Large cap battery
---LOW Medium Armor repairer II 2xEnergized Adaptive membranes (Note: 2x NPC specific is better here however I cant be bothered for level 2 missions)
Now youll note that some stuff is all wrong. But level 2s arnt a challenge go for speed and convenience. The frigate guns are ok on level 2s because your fighting waves of frigates all the time. Specially when its a giant pain in the butt to fit a rack of cruisers guns on that thing. As far as im concerned the stabber was the original destroyer.
Now if you were to head into low sec ratting you would want to move over to the proper bonused cruiser guns.

I run most of my lvl2 missions in 0.0 in a rifter. Had to pull out the old stabber for one or two missions though.
lots of small arty, heavy missiles, shield tank + lots of gyros.

QFT
I just moved from a Stabber to a Rupture last night and the change in power is amazing and I really don't have the skills to fit the Rupture well right now.

Throw a large Shield extender and some PDUs on there and you'll have a decent passive shield tank. Assult Launchers are most likly what you want and dont forget the drone. AB or Microwarp so you can speed around is nice as thats the main point of the staber
Rupture is nice but its kinda slow (compared to the stabber) and mine got blown up. This Post Needs No Signature |

My Rupture breaks 500 m/s, and can leave the AB running 24/7. It also passive regens 48 shields per second, pre-resists. :)

With a Rupture what would be better armarment fittings? AC's or Arty?

I vote for AC's; artillery can be hard to fit due to high powergrid requirements.
Plus the Minmatar cruisers' speed just begs you to fly them is an "in your face" manner.

Ral can guess what's fitted on my Rupture...
AUTOCANNONS
I spend most of my time screaming to 10.5 KM range so I can open up on the next cruiser. Really, my cruiser weaponry skills are quite lacking though, I really need to work on them more. Maybe after I'm flying my Jaguar around.
