After making a few decisions a little too fast and finding out that what I chose was not exactly what I was looking for - I am here to check my options..very wisely this time and without rushing anything.
I dont want my Employment History to show up like a Corp Hopper - so I will take my time this time.
I've been playing EVE on and off since April 2005. Took me a while to see the true beauty and opportunities a game like this has to offer.
I started my mmo career in the early EverQuest days and was hooked for about 3.5 years. Leading a raiding guild there for about a year burnt me out and I moved on to other games.
In Anarchy Online I learned about the thrill of PvP, even tho its no comparism to EVE...but you get the point I suppose.
WoW was fun at the beginning, but the no risk factor got me annoyed pretty fast. Purely gaining with nothing to lose - where is the thrill ?
I am a strong team player, but I also have days when I just need time for myself (I am a mother of 2 kids and sometimes they just leave me with little to no energy at the end of a day *smiles*)
Here is a list of criterias that are important to me:
= Teamplay
= Corp Activity on regular basis
= active Chat (nothing worse than hearing your own echo for hours)
= mature but not carebearish (best word I could find to describe)
= helping new members to integrate into the corp (I am sure others feel like this sometimes too: you join a new corp and are a little "shy" as you dont know how the corp ticks yet..silence and leaving you on your own lets you feel like not belonging to the corp pretty fast and results in you feeling a little (or very?) frustrated with your decision)
= TS/Ventrilo only being a MUST on big events or if you feel like talking/listening
= No pressure to parttake in every activity (see the point about my kids draining my energy *smirks*)
What I can offer:
= Loyality (once I know this is where I belong to..see above points)
= Teamplay
= no fear risk alot for my corp/my team
= usually a good mood which I always try to pass around *grins*
= true love for PvP (still learning EVE PvP but hey you got to start somewhere)
= not easily offended (no not even by jokes about women and flying spaceships *laughs*)
= daily activity from around 18:00 to 2:00 EVE time (I am a Europlayer living in Germany)
About my Employment History:
When I started playing in April 2005 my husband had created a 1 man Corp and I joined up of course (Union of Corvus Corax)
In December 2005 I joined up School of Hard Knocks, shortly after I went on a break because of a few healthproblems)
I just returned a few days ago and joined up with my husbands new Corp (Freedom Technologies) while they are great people - the Corps goals werent exactly mine - my first false decision made too quickly (please dont take this offensive)
I found out that a lot of SOHK had joined up with S******dly / SniggWaffe, so I thought I would give it a try to pick things up where I had dropped them when I had to leave - false decision number 2 - while they are good people they dont exactly meet my personal criterias (please dont take this offensive...sometimes it just doesnt fit)
I have a little over 1.6m Skillpoints in 53 skills (yes, yes the break shows), most of my skills are Combat and Spaceship Command oriented (or aimed for it)
What I am looking for is a Pirate Corp or PvP Corp which meets my personal criterias.
I dont think my criterias are too absurd or my goals too high..so I am sure there has to be a corp out there that fits like a glove.
I am very interested to hear suggestions and offers.

Wow, I really didnt expect answers so fast :) A few questions came up which I will either adress here or in chat ingame.
Gunship - will contact you for a chat later on.
Blood - in your requirements you clearly state 5m SP or more...why the offer ? (I am really curious *smirks*)
E.A.R.T.H. - you seem to be active during US prime time mostly ? Couldnt find any other infos on you corps playtime

Thank you all for your offers.
I did not expect so many to be honest. In total I had about 43 conversations about different offers.
They ranged from:
We like to ninja all appearantly good newbie chars so others dont get them, to well we just want more people in the corp.. to (and this one made me laugh tears) every corps needs boobies but we dont have any yet.. you got the boobies I got the corp.
Thank you all for taking your time to mail, convo, post.... I have made my decision.
