I am a PvE n00b.
Highs:
6x sml Neutron II's (my med blaster skills suck and i do way more damage with these)
1x med NOS
Meds:
2x Eutectic's, 1 x X5 web, 10mn MWD
Lows:
1600 plate, med rep II, 2x relevant active hardeners, 1 x cap relay
5x relevant damage drones T1 as i dont really want to waste my T2's as rumor has it all the mobs will aggro them.
any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
MWD doesn't work in a complex to start it off

Thats what im talking about! Thank you, so 10mn ABII instead of the mwd any more for any more? or do i need an inflammatory comment about stabs to get peeps interested?

You can pretty much use that exact same setup in a rax, they're 1/4 the price too :x

I suppose but id lose a eutectic and ive never flown a brutix before. never liked BC's the firepower of a cruiser with the speed and agility of a BS... worst of both worlds imo, but im bored waiting for hacs to train and want to fly a new ship, hence the brutix.

Rather than critique your setup (I don't use blasters in PvE, so I can't really help), I'll offer mine. This is more mission-oriented, where anti-frig is actually useful, so you might be better off with six 200mm's in the highs:
5x 250mm Railgun II (AM / Uranium / Lead)
2x 150mm Railgun II (AM / Uranium)
1x 10MN Afterburner II
3x Cap Recharger II
1x Medium Armor Repairer II
1x Armor Kinetic Hardener II
1x Armor Thermic Hardener II
1x Armor Explosive Hardener II
1x Internal Force Field Array (<- experimental; probably swap for Mag Stab)
5x Hammerhead II
It's a carebear setup, so downgrade to cheaper equipment as required. Everything sustains (with decent skills) at about 40% cap.

I like your setup inSpirAcy. Though you probably don't need all 3 types of resists for complexes. Might as well replace one of them with an eanmII for more resist on that which matters.
Sometimes I'll put a tractor beam in a high slot cuz I'm lazy.
