I have a few Questions about the mentioned Modules.
If you are flying a Close-Range-Battleship, like a Pulse-Laser Armageddon, Autocannon-Tempest or Blasterthron and fight against similar opponents, is the Tracking Disruption sufficient to make a Difference in 1:1 PvP?
Do these Disruptors affect Turret-using-NPCs like Serpentis?
A little Info from people with experience with this module would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dunno about 1vs1 PvP, but I know for damn certain they have no effect on NPC's.
Tried it in an Arbitrator vs a BS spawn. got spanked hard.

Against lasers tracking disruptors are devastating (because lasers have almost no falloff that they can rely on in case their optimal gets cut by a TD). The problem with TDs against close range ships is that a web will have a much greater effect on the tracking (a positive effect) than a tracking disruptor can negate.
Against an AC Tempest, the TD won't have much of an effect. Even with an optimal of 1m, they still have a huge falloff. Also ACs track very well by default.
The best use of TDs against battleships is to cripple long range ships imo. Snipers usually operate at the edge of their optimal. Medium ranged ships will suffer under the reduced tracking.

i use them with grate sucsess on my crow for instance. if im 1 on 1 vs a iskur he lands maby 3-4 hits on me in the time it takes me to kill him.
