Out of curiousity, is there a ban on buying or trading items and isk online? Will my account get revoked if i purchase a few million isk from a website? I've heard that you can sell game cards for isk, curious if this is the only legitimate way to do it.
Sincerely, ~Muertes le Waltz~

Yes, its banned. You can only do it through the use of GTCs, as you have stated.
If you get caught selling/buying ISK directly, you will usually be banned on the spot, permenantly.

To clarify, GTCs are Game Time Codes/Cards. You are allowed to by one online and sell it on the forums in its appropriate section for ISK. Scamming will get you instantly banned.
Also, while it is allowed by the Devs, be aware that a large portion of the playerbase is against the GTC<->ISK sales.

And what if you didn't buy Isk online but get punished for it falsely. I had this happen to a friend of mine recently, a GM just deducted 50 million isk from his account without warning claiming he was suspected of buying isk online, leaving him 45 million isk in debt and essentaily killing off a character he has spent 6 months building up. We've sent out petitions we asked in the help channel, nobody seems to care that a paying customer just got ripped off based on false information. This brings the question to mind just what measures are in place to keep the GMs honest? Or can they do whatever they like and everyone is at their mercy?
