Rule 1: You do not talk about EVE.
Rule 2: You do NOT talk about EVE.
Rule 3: Never fly what you cannot afford to lose.
Rule 4: Propulsion mods (Microwarpdrives and Afterburners) and Warp Disruptors/Scramblers are mandatory on all PvP ships... unless someone specifies otherwise.
Rule 5: Frigates are fast, Battleships are not. Battleships are tanky, Frigates are not. Fit according to the strengths of a ship.
Rule 6: Don't try to fit "everything" at the same time. If you do you won't be able to do anything 100% and will die to someone else who can.
Rule 7: Tank, Gank, Speed, Utility... choose 2.5 of those when you fit.
Rule 8: Trust no one... but be willing to take the occasional leap of faith regardless of the consequences.
Rule 9: There are no rules enforcing the traditional concept of "fairness" in EVE. Anyone is allowed to throw anything at you as long as they pay the fees and/or penalties (if any) required. However, you can ALSO do the same thing.
Rule 10: Get out there and just do it.
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

The second rule of Eve Fight Club keeps me from discussing the first rule.
This of course violates the third rule which im bound not to discuss due to rules 1 and 2.
I could tell you about rule number 4, which in itself does not violate rule numbers 1 and 3, but does violate rule number 2.
But then again, violating rules 1 through 4 have no punishment due to rule number 5, but telling you about rule number 5 violates rule number 1.
Eve Fight Club Rules are hard.
wait.. did describing the rules as hard just violate the rules?
I guess that's a technicality.. im not really discussing the rules, just describing them as being difficult.
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

3rd rule: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, starts crying in Local, post about it on the forums.
4th rule: Only two guys to a fight, unless there are 40 other guys around.
5th rule: One fight at a time, if ya don't got ISBoxer.
6th rule: No shirts, no shoes, no bathroom breaks, no sunlight, nothing but Cheetos and Dr Pepper.
7th rule: Fights will go on as long as they have to until 11:00.
8th rule: If this is your first night on EVE, you HAVE to fight.
