Hmmmm, a Russian corp recently inhabited an icebelt close to home. I should pay them a visit, and you know what they say about Russians: "They always carry good mods".
No seriously, they do. Every Russian guy I've ever killed has dropped some really good stuff.

there probably gana be gaurded really well(at least the good corps).But that isn't gana stop my inty now is it =P

a very short-sightedly view.
Macrominer will find other ways to earn money, like ordinary ore.
Alliances will mine ICE in larger scale with protection.
The only victims of this are people who like to play this game in smaller groups or solo, and as the past showed us, they will change their business, instead of taking the risk.
But however this game, and alot of chars are not charactarised by intellingence.

Dont panic....the ice is only being removed from highly traveled systems to reduce lag. Not all of high sec will be effected. use your ore density scanners and see for your self. if they are decreasing in size as you mine then you know that you will eventually run out of ice. Even still a 300+ km ice belt is gonna be around for a long while.
