I am thinking of getting my battleship skill up to level 4, and I wanted to know if you earn anything on leveling that skill directly? Not just as a base for learning other skills etc.

From the skillbook, It says in general that this skill learns you to pilot the Battleship. I know that flying the ship needs to be at a certain level. like level 2 i think for the megatron and level 1 for the dominix. But when u fly it (not just have the skill) do you have anything more to gain by levelling up? Like to level 3 or 4 or even 5? I can after all fly the dam ship at level 2... And yes, I know the Megathron gives like 5% bonuses to large hybrid guns

I refer you to my above post that suggests you read the description of the SHIP you're flying, for example if you're flying a Megathron, read the DESCRIPTION of the Megathron and you'll see what you get per level of Gallente Battleship skill. People didnt explain it very well. Take a megathron and look at its bonuses. For every level you train you get a 7.5% tracking bonus and a 5% dmg bonus. So increasing your bs skill from 3 to 4 will give you more dmg and better tracking in a megathron.
