First of all I'd like to tell that this post follows all the rules described in "Forum rules" and it is not intended to create any discussion about my ban's neither this post will include "private communications" (but if you ever receive them you will clearly understand how CCP works and how much it cares about their paying costumers).

I'm a programmer, so I have and use many software that could be considered and used for macroing purposes(this software includes compilers, debuggers, unpackers, etc). And at work I've had some "troubles" so to play Eve at work I've had to use VNC over ssh tunnel. I've been mining hard, using multiple accounts when I was home and just one-two at work(as it was really just afk minning and I could stay in space and don't even have an asteroid targeted for hours).

A bit more then month ago I was banned, as you may imagine, the ban was for macroing and all my accounts got lot of ISK removed(I've not used any software for macroing nor any additional software, not considering EveHQ). Without getting into details, the answer from the support team was useless and after sending a few more followups I clarified myself on my activities and how much I play and from where. The second answer for the ticket was yesterday as it got closed with similar message as the first one.

So I'd like to suggest you, fellow players, to be careful and not getting into this game, as you may just get banned for no actual reason and without getting any support from the "support team".


PS: Jita still has the ISK scammers and players who have payed for the game are the ones who are getting banned.

Hope any GM reading this post reads it to the end and checks that all rules were followed.

I still have a pending ticket, so if this time they read it and do what I've asked my account would be banned(for lifetime) or I will finally get the ISK back. In the case of ban I suppose only my Corp members will get some free stuffz.

Never use VNC over pssssshhhhh tunnel, unless you're absolutely sure it has enough pssssssshhhhhh.

It seams that not only CCP doens't read what I write.

You dont just get banned, ive never heard of anyone in any game get banned for legit playing, ccp know who bots and macros because therr is common things bots do

You'd have better luck convincing everyone of your innocence if you just stuck with "My cat did it."

What do you mean "the ban was for macroing"? Could you elaborate?

If you were the one pushing the buttons, there should be no issue with macroing.

3. Ranting is prohibited.

A rant is a post that is often filled with angry and counterproductive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and is helpful in development of the game and community. Rants are disruptive, and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise and clear manner while avoiding going off on rambling tangents.

10. Discussion of warnings and bans is prohibited.

Such matters shall remain private between CCP and the involved user. Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through email or private messaging. CCP respect the right of our players to privacy and as such you are not permitted to publicize private correspondence (including petition responses and emails) received from any of the aforementioned parties.

support doesn't even read the ticket and post's generic answers after weeks of waiting.
