nspired by a vicious scissor-toothed shark indigenous to old-world Matar, the Hel is widely viewed as a sign of a Republic out for blood. Since the beginning of its development it has remained a project cloaked in secrecy, with precious few people aware of its progress and its capabilities, and its formal unveiling has come as a defiant slap in the face to many who formerly believed the Matari incapable of working at this scale of starship design.
Whatever comprises the soil of its roots, though, one thing is clear: from no-frills living quarters to grim, unadorned aesthetic, this ferocious behemoth has been designed for one purpose and one purpose only.
öImagine a dozen deadly hornets pouring from the devilÆs mouth. Now imagine they have autocannons.ö -Unknown Hel designer

No, they are immune to all forms of EW. Carriers can be scrambled, etc though.

Although, I should add, you can still use a frigate to bump them out of warp alignment!

You still need cap to jump. Drain their cap and they can't jump. And then they die. It's not unfeasible. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

Edited by: Acerus Malum on 30/06/2006 14:42:46 I think it refers only to the modules under the "Electronic Warfare" heading in the item database. Energy vampires are, of course, inexplicably listed as engineering equipment.

they cost about 120bill in total, imo there's nothing wrong with them being just about invincible

Only a mobile warp disruptor or interdictor sphere can hold them.
However, if they are in an interdiction sphere they could just log out since CCP sucks.

Lol Everyone flying them!
For one a mothership costs around 30bill isk for ship + fittings...
A Titan costs well over 70bill isk for Ship + fittings.
Yes everyone will have one SoonTM. ---------------------------

For NPCs, that's true. Officers can't be Nosferatu-ed. For players... Well, a sieged Dreadnought is immune to EWar, but can still be nossed, iirc, so it is thus logical that Motherships and Titans can also be Nosferatu-ed. New sig coming soonÖ By "soon" I do not necessarily mean "this year" |

No, it's an offensive engineering module.

do you know the amount of cap that need a capital ship to jump? the titan can only use the jump drive at the beggining of a fight, when a repairer/booster is activated there is a low chance that the ship will have enough cap to jump -----------------------------

And from what I've heard (don't take this as fact, hopefully someone will confirm) you can't jump if you're warp scrambled, whether it be though a warp disruptor or bubble.

No they can't cause you need a gang member in the destination system with a cyno generator and if the star has no gates then the ship with the cyno generator can't get in there. Inside my mind.

I could not use Shield Transporter on a Dreadnougth in siege mode, since they are imune to ewar then i guess u cant use a nos either since that a engineering module too.
