i get again mail spam on game made the petition
but i am sure that is a trial account
dunno if remove the trial account`s is the best option but thei spam for free make them to pay at last 5$ dunno find a solution

would it be difficult to limit the number of eve-mails per day a trial account can send?
I'm not sure, but to me it looks like a counter in a database and an 'if' statement somewhere in the code....

Trial accounts can only send evemails to people who have "buddied" them, or if they are in non-NPC corp (and alliance) to their corpmates (and allymates)?
Can't really see other ingame solution to this...

Just like any good junk filter: heuristic Bayesian filtering based on most-common "spam" terms (dollar signs, urls to known ISK sellers, etc) and a "Report Spam" button.

Sooner or later, CCP will remove the ability for trial account characters to send people mails. Would be nice if CCP simply added a filter for the 8 character double word of the most common site spammed.

We need to take the stickies down sometime or the whole front of General Discussion would be a huge sticky mess, and I know who'd have to clean it up

Filing a petition is all that players can do at their end in order to assist CCP in identifying where this mail is originating from. It is up to the individual whether they file the petition.

CCP please do something. So far i received just 3 ISK spam mails but if its getting more it would be really annoying.
Disable mail for trial accounts or reduce mailtraffic to 1 mail per hour. Scan for keywords in mails. Personalize Trialaccounts - take a charge of a few cent for a trial from the creditcard (refunded if trial changed to permanent) and bann this person 4ever if identified as spammer...
