Hi,
I have been looking around quite some time and didn't see s.o. to offer a Dominix. I just decided to buy one for having a dedicated mining(-insurance) - replacing my Thorax... ;-)
Does anyone have experience in this? What's your favourite mining setup (except a load of Harvesters) in respect to CPU, Power and which other modules would you recommend?
Current price (ISK), Mega-bad time for BPCs...?

hey !!
try Techell - they make Dominix ..and I don't know why, but i think they got mega/zyd for producing them... try their channel (techell)
setup:
hmm im mining with 6 miner2 +8 harvester 6expanders ..it works allright (cpu aint the problem ..more the hauling of the ore  )

I got a Apoc fitted with 8 miner2¦s and 7 harv ... that works great - got mining lvl 5 and astro lvl 3

yes, an your p**** is the longes, WHO asked for what U have in your apoc? The question was about a DOM, i quess

try in douss (forgot region name, @ work atm), here're 3 on the normal market, quite expensive tho, about 54-55.5m.
I could offer U one, but I decided to wait 'til the megacyte prices takes effect in ship prices ;) ("thx" to techell  )

I was just fine with the standard equipment, CPU and grid enough in that cute little ship...

for Rhombus: if u got cpu needs - swap a expander with a basic cpu processer. The nice thing with the domo is all the low slots.
its a great ship and a cheap bs ..the batmobile (megathron) is also nice ..but paying 40mill extra for 1 turret ..hmm'

Agreed on most points! Now I really think the Dominix is good for my needs.
Having all important skills (Astrogeology, Drone Interf. + most Piloting Skills like AB, Evasive Man. or Acc. Control) quite high or maxed, I was wondering if it might be tricky to get a good fitting.
I expected to run in some shortage with 6 Miners and shield/speed upgrades.
Hauling won't be a problem... my girlfriend and me are going for a Mammoth/Iteron V ATM (or better for the next weeks  ).
I really plan to put the ship aside just for mining - having a financial backup if my other ship, a MOA, gets destroyed...
