This was hard a dessison but we had to do it. RUS Corp. is leaving eve. Why? Answer is simple: bugs. We were with this game since the beginnig, but the amount of bugs wich made this game unplayble and the ignorance of devs provoked us to leave it. Right now we don't see any perspective for us to continue playing. But of course big corp as RUS can't disapear to nowhere in a second. Eve is leaving only few but the most active members, here are their names: Ronin, Draken, Kashej, Leshiy, Amorex, Lorgus, Jvol, Mamont, Oks and me. Sorry if I forgot someone. New CEO will be Technolisa. So, goodby everyone, hope to see you again but in other world.

Really sorry to see you go - will miss you a lot.
How about one last news statement telling us the real story behind the MASS v RUS war?
All the best - was fun.

lol sutty rus still outscore fountain in kills by tens of bships so I dont think that was a worry :)
Anyway guys you were in my opinion the best pvp force in eve, talked the least smack and were highly proffesional in your operations. The first time we raided fountain with you guys I was simply awed by the level of combat organisation you guys put in. Glad you were on our side. Sadly however I see that you guys have reached the same conclusions I did, this game in its present state cannot support great gamers, no level of player skill can defend you against multiple bugs etc that plague the game and are frankly ingored by the devs in some instances.... (Grid bug in fountain 2 months ago anyone?)
Anyway don't wanna turn this into a flame fest, you guys were good, had a great time playing with you... respect...

It must be a PvP game and not miner simulator. And what will you do if there were no players like RUS/SIN/M0o and no other battle corporations? Place another part of ore in your hangar, or make 1000 battleships which you wil not need? You will not even fight each other coz you will not even have a reason for a war. We make FUN in this game, and not stupid NPC pirates. You get your portion of adrenaline fooling us and cominbg through our secrets( or we look like you fooled us) Together we got fun burning each other in cruel wars. And we gave work to miners and industrialists =) The game lost it's idea The winner is who was the first to get to exit from jump and released drones, creating lag I remember how we fighted in Stain region at the beginning The war with M0o. They were FIGHTERS! And now only crowd(exactly crowd) of newbies sitting on battleships. There are nearly no one left, whom i threated like a fighter or a player. Foolish policy of CCP, they couldn't realize a huge potential of this game, i sorrow of it. Endless game defects, petitions ignorance, I'am tired of it too much. Possibly the most of will leave the game soon, but i hope that our places will be taken by others, and we will be back when the game will be finished even for 70% and not for 10% like now damnit my english it too bad for you to understand all i wanted to say, but i'll be glad if 1 of 1000 will..
To my great regret I have made the decision to leave game ________________________________________________

Yes, I'm sad to see you are leaving. I have had many good times in this game thanks to you guys. Nothing in this game is close to how fun it was to fight you guys.

Edited by: Probe on 30/09/2003 12:08:30 And i'm sure one of those terrible bugs EVE had was the Megacyte dupping bug, and u guys had Millions of reasons to hate in yer corp Hangar!
Actually there were so many RUS ppl so annoyed by that evil bug that CCP had to BAN them by their own requests!
Afterall, everyone knows that such bugs ruin yer enjoyment of any "miner simulator" game!
And last of all, its really a pain when one such bug forces a corp to forget mining needs and pushes the entire corp into spending huge ammounts of time just in PvP without worry about money needs for hardware... really a pain when such bug turns EVE into a Unreal Tornament frag fest!
Yep RUS, i feel yer bug pain!

A shame to see so many recognizeable names leaving, but I can't blame them at all. The amount of bugs in EVE does not balance with the cost of the subscription. There are much cheaper bug-free games on the market. I am just as anxious for Titans and player Stations as the next guy...but not a damn thing should be added to game until a more stable platform can be established. Patches they test on Test Server work 110% fine and then cause 5 dozen bugs on the main server. Obviously there's a problem there don't you think? :)
The fact that the EVE Universe is dominated by pacifists has also boggled me as well. I partook in my first PvP yesterday in which I wasn't blatantly the prey. It was great! I wish more people would back away from Carebear Staring asteroids into depletion.
Goodluck ex-EVE Rus'sers, hope to see you in other games.....I'm not far behind you if EVE doesn't head in a new direction.

Having been with the game from the second day, RUS has always been a force of power and respect that has always been there. I will miss you all.
Best of luck with whatever you do. Your being in EVE has helped create much of the background story, and I am saddened to see you leave.
Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.

Edited by: The Wretch on 30/09/2003 13:21:30 Well loosing ~5 billion isk in megacyte would p1ss me off pretty bad.
PvP is pretty lame atm. What I don't agree with is that it is not going to get better or fixed. Have already noticed lag reduction and after the last mini patch have only "rubber-band" lagged twice!
Best of luck to those leaving and staying.
Edit: lame laguage filter - how old are we here? six?

Its a shame to see the larger eve corps beginning to crumble as ppl leave eve until it is fixed.
On the good side it is leaving more room for us baby corps to grow some more.

Well this game is preventing the fightercorps from really doping what they are doing. As soon as there are more then a few ships the lag get so bad that you can't really control your ship anymore and it has became more of who can use the game mechanics in their favour then who has the best strategy. I still have hope that they will sort it out though and will stay for a bit longer. ------------------ NoctoZ Black Reign Curse Alliance |

They beat the language barrier and managed to retain the respect of (virtually) every enemy they came up against; regardless of winning/losing.
EVE will be a less fun place without the russian menace.

A whole corp leaving, two pages of discussion about it, and so far, not one person has asked for stuff.
There are 10 sorts of people in the world - those who understand binary, and those who do not. |

Edited by: Shamrock on 30/09/2003 14:57:50 So, basically the subject line is a crock of crap. The ones you say are staying are pretty damn active and for the most part, the only RUS I have come in contact with in the universe. And it's those that are staying that have had to deal with the bugs and what not. The rest must of have a hard time with NPC pirates in 0.8 systems while mining. :p
I can say this for sure. Without RUS, Sinister is going to go down just a wee bit faster now. ;)

I'm sad players are leaving but this unplayable nerf-messed game is a result of CCP scrambling to come up with patches to save us from griefing exploiters. If people didnt do stuff like
1) Stack modules that weren't supposed to be stacked (m0o) 2) Pod newbies in 1.0 space (m0o and Tank CEO) 3) Lag people out with mining drones at jump in points to kill them without even being loaded (name your pirate corp for this one) 4) Grid expoloits (SA) 5) Blockades in supposedly safe empire space then podding people for no reason thus showing they arent pirates at all (SA,FA,m0o, you name it)
We would have the high level content in the game already without all the bugs. The only thing I blame CCP for is not forseeing a bunch of griefers would come and try to ruin it for everyone else. Remember PvP is not griefing. But what some of these guys were/are doing is not PvP. Without their antics we'd not be in this mess.
