Anyone gained an implant from this faction? I got my lvl3 just before they patched and I have done 70 missions successful since the patch and not a single implant. Tried failing one but no luck.

Answering my own post - just talked to a friend in game who has exactly the same agent I do - he's had 5 implants in 81 missions. If anyone is intrested my Social skill is better than his, whilst he has 13 charisma compared to my 11 skill points. Only other difference is he has turned down missions where i have never turned them down. Thats what I will try next....

turning down missions has worked for me too. I simply refuse any mission that sends me over 7 jumps away...

Edited by: Zrakor on 30/09/2003 13:57:32 Is your agent located in a system that's below 0.4 security rating?
This corporation is actually part of the Gallente Federation faction, so it should be getting it's implant mission.

I turned down an agent mission (only time i did) and lost quite alot of status with his faction... took me 20 - 30 missions to make up for it.... and i got 3 implants on the trot lastnight from 2 agents (3 days of no implants though).... shame they were all intel +3!!

Does it matter what sec rating the system is that my lvl 3 agent is in?
I just got my first lvl 3 agent and I decided to do some more missions for my lvl 2...
I am now popping out a lvl 3 agent every other mission. Should I keep going at it till I get a lvl 3 agent thats in a system that is below a certain sec. rating?

The criteria for getting an implant mission currently has the parameter "agent must be located in system with 0.4 sec rating or over". I changed that on our test server since I didn't feel it was neccessary, but it won't change on Tranq until the agent data is updated.

I am sorry... I need clarification. 0.4 or over would be 0.4 to 1.0? Or 0.4 to 0.0
Also is it more likely to get implants from a 0.8 then a 0.5?

Kerry: My question exactly.
Could we please have a clarification on what "above 0.4" means.
Thank you.

Well, since my agent is in a 0.9 and I'm still getting implants after the patch, it's safe to say 0.4 and above means 0.4-1.0.

Ok, so my agent in 0.1 space will never give me any implant missions. Now i have wasted my time doing 84 missions for the purpose of gaining an implant. Was this information published anywhere? In any case can you tell us when the data is updated so i can have a chance of an implant mission from this agent. I really dont have the will to work my way up through any more agent missions to get another level3 and this one hasnt referred me to anyone else in 84 missions.
BTW - A friend claimed he had 5 implants from this very same agent in this system from 81 missions post patch.

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to have any sympathy for you.
You piled in to do agent missions to get the implants.
That is *not* just what agents are about.
You tried to make a quick buck and you failed.
Why should the information be published anywhere? Do you think the Devs should have sign posts by each Jumpgate saying "Click this button for rare loot and effort-free ISK!" ?
Stop being so short sighted and greedy

and you could try to stop being so smug.
If a patch says implants are in, you have every right to assume its in for all agents - not in with any exceptions that a dev forgot to or didn't care to mention.

Thanks. Nothing to do with making a quick buck at all - I wouldnt mind an Intelligence implant and Memory to help with training times - As soon as I get them i am not doing *any* more tedious agent missions. And like the man says all they said was that implants were in as rewards for agent missions, they left out the except for .... Your point about jumpgates is completely moot - the last thing anyone wants is easy pointers to things as exploration is a major part of the game. However this is in effect what they *DID* do - hey implants are this way from agents..

Please tell everyone how you are only doing agent missions to expand your range of contacts, yeah right. Spot the troll.
Arthur, I sympathise with you, I got offered a mission last night but before accepting it, I had a plea for help from a m8 who needed a 20K pirate killing for his level 3 agent mission. I went and helped him out and went to accept the mission when I returned, only to find that I could not accept the mission. It was only then that I read the full mission brief that I realised the mission was a referal mission, however, by the time I got back to grab it, it had timed out on me. I have since done another 8 or so mission, without getting the referal one offered again.

It sounded to me like the claim of a total loss is not totally correct. From what I gathered for the developer information, the will be provisions for those agents located in lower security space and those who are not of the prime factions.
Just give it a little time.

Just a quick followup - Woo Yay! I got an intelligence implant on mission 85 from this agent And it has had a significant effect on my training times where this attribute is key.. Many thanks to the devs who must have made their adjustments to make these available in < 0.4 space now

Still here, Dreamworks? Not scurried off to the farthest corners of 0.0 space like the rest of your corp?
He was being shortsighted and greedy - he wants it all, and now, with little effort. And? Your point?
Sorry, my mistake - I shouldn't really expect a mentally challenged 14 year old to differentiate between pointing out someone's behaviour, and flinging insults around.
The only reason you kept quiet for so long was because the GMs rapped your knuckles, and you landed your corp in hot water.
Still, feel free to hijack threads and look foolish. It gives us all somethnig to chuckle about.

For someone who needs 6 months to get his guerilla warfare going, you sure do talk alot...
Maybe you should take some actions, instead of running. __________________________

Poor, tragic little child. Your parents must find it hard, dealing with someone so resistant to commone sense.
You might wish for a head to head battle - as I've pointed out before, you won't get one. CounterStrike is -> that way.
Taking a numerically smaller force against a larger one, head on, is foolish at best. I don't expect you, with your limited mental capacity, to understand this - but as I'm a generous person I'll keep on trying to educate you.
You may think that being a CEO is all ego trip, but it does actually have responsibilities - as you will find out.
Meanwhile, keep looking over your shoulder.
I nearly had you in Chaven last night, having been stalking you for an hour - however, you logged out.
I guess Mummy said it was bedtime? It was *quite* late, I suppose. Bless

Actually my isp quit and i was hunting pirates with a group of friends, attacking me then was 100% a single trip to haden since i never been so ready before.
My mommy quit telling me when my bedtime was 8 years ago, since i left the house but if you try and indicate that she's the best mother yeah she is.
For someone who's ego tripping, my corp is sure big for a CEO with such attitude.

Stop hijacking threads, Dreamworks. If you want to continue to embarass yourself, do it on the thread in Crime and Punishment where I offer a 10M ISK bounty for your corpse.
