I seem to remember reading somewhere that Medium Towers and Medium Reactors were made to go together. But, a medium reactor and the three silos needed to operate it take up too much CPU. You cant do a moon harvester and a medium reactor and a silo either, too much CPU. The only industrial advantage I can see from having a medium tower is that you could mine the raw materials from the moon and them transport then to another POS to refine them. But another medium POS, you might as well just have gotten a large and done the entire process automated, 2MEDPOS FUEL = 1LARGEPOS FUEL
What is the point? Are they purely defensive? For those interested in the industrial side of a POS do they have any purpose whatsoever?

Gallente & Caldari mediums can fit a medium reactor, 2 harvesters, 1 coupling, 1 silo
they can also do 1 med reactor, 3 silo's, 1 coupling
Minmatar can do it with creativity, and you need to babysit it
Amarr has more trouble doing it
you could do it with slightly more breathing room, if you drop things like web, warp scram and warp disruptor batterys... but who's that crazy?

and small towers
don't even bother with small amarr even with one harvestor

But an Amarr Medium Tower cannot fit a Medium Reactor in any efficient Setup.
2Harvesters + 1 Silo + Medium Reactor = NO
3 Silos + Medium Reactor = NO
theres really no other setups, this needs to be looked at

That's because Amarr towers (not medium towers) are crap for industrial purposes.
They have the most powergrid of any towers, so they could be the best for defense, if not for game mechanics problems with low-RoF beam laser arrays.

get creative
2 harvesters, 1 med reactor, 1 coupling array(if the bonus works, 2250m3 space, or 11 hrs iirc)
2 coupling arrays, 1 med reactor, 1 silo(needs to be fed every 22hrs, provided the bonus doesn't screw up)
granted, you do have to babysit them
